My first MLP drawings! (Updated again, new tablet! :D)

Just posting my MLP drawings. I know I haven't done many but maybe I'll update it later. =^.^=

I really like you Pony OC. o: Black/grey and pink are good colors to put together, in my opinion.

 

And that drawing of Rarity is fabulous! I like how you highlight the manes/tails, too.

Yeah, I love the colour combination Black/Grey/Pink. My hair is Black and Red IRL so I kind of based her mane off my hair IRL. =^.^=

In the first drawing, the neck seems too long, and the body too. I don't draw pegasuseseseses that often so I don't know about the wings.

I use an Aiptek tablet, and I use Paint Tool SAI. :3

Like most people have been saying, these are very impressive. Especially for someone only 13, I would suggest you continue perusing art. You've got allot of advanced shading, lighting, and style going on, especially with your Fluttershy drawing, but there are a few basic problems you keep running into. Primarily in your first linked drawings, the anatomy is a bit off, but you fixed most of that up later on except for your eyes and noses. You make your noses a bit to long, for cannon. The eyes, you tend to make too small, specifically the eyes you placed on Rarity. Aside from that, what mediums are you using to draw? I might be able to give you a few more tips if they're tools I'm familiar with.

Now THIS is the sort of critique I'm looking for! Thank you very much, Ezynell. I'll take that into account and I'll try my best to improve it. I pretty much just use the pen and the blur tool in Paint Tool SAI. Maybe the select and bucket tool occasionally, but nothing else. c:

The airbrush tool is really good for shading and lighting. It's also good to get in some semi-detailed hair and spice up your picture. Also try drawing with lineart sometime. Vectoring makes it easier to edit and recolor your image if you don't think it looks right. What type of tablet are you using?
