Seriously, I feel bad for forgetting it, but what do you expect when the only reason I a European can play it is through illegal means? I even OWN a cartridge of Earthbound but because my transfer pak was made before it, it's region-locked and I can't play it.

 

So, sorry Nintendo, but I have to ROM hack your games to appreciate them and not mention them in top favourites

I really enjoy most of the older Zelda games (Although with the direction their more recent games have taken it's apparent that they're starting to go downhill), but I think my favorite might be Castlevania.

 

I love Castlevania too, but I believe that falls under Konami's franchise, not Nintendo.

Back on topic, I could really only get into the Zelda series. I don't see the appeal in Pokemon/Kirby, and a certain group (anyone who knows me knows what I'm talking about) ruined the Mario franchise for me.

i'm shocked nopony ever mention SUPER SMASH BROS ...for me, that's the best franchise Nintendo has ever made

Speaking of Smash Bros, I'm pumped about the one for Wii U. I think I also remember hearing that they were gonna make one for 3DS (which I have) that will be compatible with the home console version.

Zelda and Mario will always have a place in my gaming heart, but most of the Nintendo releases I loved the most were made by other companies.

I love the Mario games to death, but seeing how much Pokemon merchandise I have and continue to collect, how many hours I have on the games, etc. I'm going to have to say Pokemon is my favorite.

From what I heard, the 3DS version is going to have a feature where you can customize your own character, but the actual fighting will mostly be done on the Wii U version. But that's just from what I remember hearing.
