Garage sales, and taking advantage of people who don't what things are worth

Anybody else check as many garage sale as possible, just to find the hideously good deals that arise when people have no idea what things are worth?

 

Special edition spiderman DVDs in great condition for $5.

FF7, black label, original case and manual, good condition, and came with a PS1 memory card, $10.

Symphony of the Night, black label, original case and manual, good condition, $15.

Odin Sphere, black label, original case and manual, like new, $2.

5,000+ magic cards, combined worth probably about $100, for $30.

Psh. I sold half a PS2 for $70, no cords or anything. I then went and sold a cracked N64 for $100. I would have sold my DS that my dad vomited on and broke the screen, but the kids big brother was there. I could swear, he was hating me and loving me at the same time.

If this counts I negotiated for the price of an accordion.I bought it for $75 (+5 speechcraft) I then managed to sell it for $300 a week later. (+10 speechcraft) .

My Grandpa is silly enough to listen to those infomercials you see about coins, and bought one, never opened it, threw it in his closet, and forgot about it, until he gave to me as a birthday gift (trust me, all gifts I got from him came from his closet), he said the coin was "useless" and didn't want it anymore. (2001 American eagle painted silver dollar, worth about $75 on ebay, the value rises each year, it could be worth even more, its in mint condition, not even the plastic protective bag was removed.) There's not many garage sales where I live, so I barely shop at any. But every time I have one I check the internet, then overprice everything. It all still manages to get sold.

not a garage sale, but i've found some cool stuff in second-hand stores, namely music (you can find a lot of cool music in second-hand stores, some very hard to get stuff, as well), but also this total swag dress for a cheap price.

My issue is landing a job. No one wants to throw Hayzelestia a bone here -.-.

 

Also, I bought an unopened box set of Magic cards a few years ago. I forget what it's value was but there were quite a few valuable cards in it. If I can find a picture of which set I'll link it. This was from a yard sale as well.
