an act of god? Or just pure luck? Carrick didn't really believe that Celestia or Luna had planned this out. He heard the hooves grow louder and louder. Slowly a vision of a pony came up. Purple fur. Purple eyes, dark blue hair with two streaks of purple and pink. This made a clear description of...."Twilight sparkle?"

 

"Is somepony here?" her voice came around. Her horn glowed. She took around at her surroundings, she swear that she had heard something but, there is no way that is possible. This place was quite for a reason. I must be going crazy. Her horn glowed again as she teleported away.

 

What the fuck?! Carrick looked shock. He just saw one of the missing suspect disappear in front of his eyes. She did not seem duress at all (nor was there any dark magic around her.) "Did everypony saw what I saw?" Carrick was indeed in shock in what had happened just moments ago...

"Drunken teleporting, its like drunk flying, its not a good idea normally. I had Twilight on my mind instead of her tree house. I honestly don't know how else it could have happened." Blaze explained.

"The better question is, where in the blue moon are we? Are we actually under the castle?" Carrick asked.

"I think so, but if twilight was down here she would have gotten out by now, you all remember the changeling incident right? when she was trapped down here with the real princes, at any rate i hear voices above us so if were not under the castle then i have no damn idea, we could be anywhere in Equestria, even the whole world!" said Ponyborn

"Guess that isn't too helpful. We could find a way out, but she already teleported." Carrick looked at Ponyborn and Blaze. "Is it possible that she got mind control at all?"

"Its alright, I can just teleport up back to where we were last" Blaze said, his horn glowing again but as he tried to concentrate on a teleporting spell his horn just sputtered out a few sparks. "Shit that invisibility rune sucked down all my mp. Looks like I am of no use right now."

"Well yeah it is possible. There is always a possibility, if a SS class spell was used it could be undetectable." Blaze explained

"Only if you feel up to the task" Blaze said "I mean we don't have much of an option at this point, but the way I see it is, as long we don't end up on the moon, anyplace is better than here

"I strongly suggest we dont take that risk...One pony cant teleport a group of our size and...well...live to tell about it to put it bluntly, you would die of fatigue on the other end...however if we can use whats left of our MP to send some sort of signal above ground we might be able to alert somepony in the area, its a long shot but its really all we have that wont tax us to the point of death." Said Ponyborn

"And who exactly would come help us at this point," Thunder retorted. "I'll be damned before I go to the guard and let them take Trixie."

"Hmm, maybe not Ponyborn. Of course if you are not properly trained teleporting a group this size could indeed be fatal. But I have something else in mind. Starbolt you remember how you wanted to learn runes?" Blaze asked.

"Yes!" Starbolt said getting quite excited.

"Well I can't be positive that this will work but I will explain the fundamentals of rune spells. Rune spells work like this; ancients used symbols all the time because they knew the power that was held in them. Using the ancients language as a medium, a mage can channel his/her Magic Power inside of the words, which then in turn activate them. The amount of MP needed varies on how big the rune is. In most every situation a rune spell will be made circular. This circle called a 'runic circle' a runic circle is normally comprised of a string of runes, not just one, it is important to know the what these runes mean, because if you know what they mean, you could make up your own runic spell. A runic circle is just a sentence or two of ancient letters that make up the rules for the spell. As I said, some spells can be one, two or, three runes instead of a whole sentence, these make for the most rudimentary and easy rune spells, that is what I will be teaching you now." Blaze began drawing intricate markings in the ground with his hoof. And explained while drawing "The ancients viewed Time and and Space as one in the same thing, hence the hour glass, of course while it is possible to travel through time, that would require a whole paragraph of runic info, this is just three runes of info. Note the crescent scape of the circle itself. The ancients believed that the moon was the goddess of safe travels, this will provide the base for the spell. The crosshair like symbol simply means 'to execute'. The whole thing together roughly translates to 'guide me to my destination' this all together. It will open a portal for about 15 seconds, to wherever the caster desires.

"Alright, let me give it a go." Said Starbolt as she tried to form the runic circle. The runic circle began to form as Starbolt concentrated on keeping the circle accurate. The circle was mostly correct.

'Okay, take me Twilight's Library.' She thought as she completed the circle.

"Impressive," Carrick replied. For somepony to learn so quickly such a magic move. Carrick gave an "heh" under his breath.

 

"What a pony" Carrick said to himself.

"Lets see if the portal actually works before you say I'm impressive." Replied Starbolt as she waited for the portal to open.

(Wait for Bronynonymous to see if i got the spell right?)

"Looks a bit rough, but the fact that it even looks remotely the same for your first time, it is quite amazing. You have a talent for sure." Blaze complimented "So lets go before it closes."

"Let me step into the portal first, just in case I messed up." She said as she stepped into the portal.

"Welp, looks good enough to me" Blaze said as he leapt through. He exited the portal and looked around, it was outside twilight's tree, probably about 30 yards off. "Not bad for a first time" Blaze said with a grin

"I'm actually surprised that we ended up in Ponyville." Said Starbolt chuckling as she walked towards Twilight's Library.

'I can't believe it, that wasn't even half as exhausting as teleporting a group.' She thought.

" Well I am glad we didn't end up porting inside a wall. I heard about a person experimenting with a port rune and ended up porting in a solid object. It killed him instantly." Blaze smiled
