I have once wished for a moment like this,

a moment to where I could be happy.

 

No matter what is thrown at me,

I can always find a way to be happy.

 

And it is all because of her,

all because of Amanda.

 

She actually is there when I need it,

always there to lend me a hand.

 

She refuses to let me fall,

unlike so many others.

 

Even during today's events,

she continued to stay on call with me.

 

Tears refused to fall while I was with here,

as she could only make me smile.

 

I cannot believe the blessing that has been bestowed upon me,

the wonderful life I have been given.

 

The perfect woman I have been looking for,

exactly how I described her.

 

I am her first love,

and she is my life.

 

I will make sure that her first love is amazing,

and that her first will be her only.

 

My life seems way too perfect,

like something bad is waiting to happen.

 

But nothing does.

 

Even her family accepts me,

unlike all the others.

 

And Amanda was not like the others,

she held no fear.

 

She told her parents without fear of the consequences,

which led to her parents accepting me.

 

I do not have to stress about her parents,

and never worry if I am liked or not.

 

I cannot believe how happy I am becoming,

how I am feeling every day.

 

The fuzzy feeling within me continues to grow,

the lightheaded sensation never starting to cease.

 

She has made my life wonderful,

and I hope I have done the same.

 

For I always want her happy,

I want her to always have a smile.

 

For she is my beautiful baby girl,

and I will always stay true to her.

I know it's been so early but...

 

I love you.

 

It feels like we have been together a lifetime,

yet it's been much shorter than that.

 

But I hope that we can make this a lifetime,

a lifetime of us.
