The actors were probably chosen more for looking like the characters than their ability to act like them. Movie Sokka was not funny at all, and everyone else was just about as emotionless. They cut out some good stuff too, like Aang with the moon spirit's power and wiping out a fleet of Fire bender ships. They had that part in the trailer, I saw it (granted, they couldn't fit everything in but C'MON) http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png ! It was just sad to see how they butchered one of my favorite series.
