Makar 42 October 4, 2011 Share October 4, 2011 (edited) I recently was browsing the forums when I came across this topic, the picture of the house got me thinking about how awesome it would be to explore a 3D my little pony universe? Lemme define the type of game I'm imagining, a 3D multi-player game similar to toon town, free to play with a micro transaction system for in-game items. In toon town each player creates their own Disney like character, there are also cannon Disney characters in the game world for players to meet and interact with.There are 'cogs' roaming the streets, cogs are the main villains of the game, they are robot business men that seek to blot out all fun in the world (or something along those lines, I never really followed the story) and at some points may transform buildings into mega buildings and invade it and so players have to raid them and defeat the boss cogs to regain control of the building. Now, lemme try to convert this to pony. Each player has their own pony and discord and his minions are loose and Twilight and the gang have failed to stop them so Princess Celestia needs your help! So you have been recruited to help the Princess. Across Equestria discord's minions roam causing havoc everywhere and you have to stop them. A system similar to Toon Town could be implemented and Discords minions could create havoc hot spots where groups of players could face the minions to regain the small area. Cannon characters could be found throughout the game and could give players quests and some small tid bits of information to help them along. Though the game would be aimed at children and would have EXTREMELY simple game mechanics I think bronies might enjoy it, don't you? Or am I just rambling and making no sense? It'd be more like the MLP Story app... Still a great idea though! I love Toon Town! Why are you dragging your cursor over my signature? Is there a problem here? Do you maybe expect something special? An RPG, puzzle game, or adventure would be preferable. Not in cruelty, Not in wrath; The reaper came today, An angel visited this grey path- And took the cube away. That and the Portal 2 pony mod who's name escapes me. ^^; And a part of me wonders what an officially-made FiM game would be like. Would they make it only for kids? Or, knowing darn well about the periphery demographic, try and make it for everyone? My guess would be for the former. :-/ Would you like a chocolate milk of glass? They even have a public pre-alpha release of the single-player version. I also love me some sprite-style RPGs so I'm almost more excited for this than Equestria Online.
