You may RP one of the Mane 6. Just no Elements of Harmony powers, they're in Canterlot anyway.

 

They've been in hiding. But now they're starting to come out. Who? The vampires, of course.

 

Everypony thought they were a myth. Some may not know, but they are creatures that Nightmare Moon plagued Equestria with 1000 years ago. After Celestia banished Nightmare Moon to the moon, they seemed to disappear. But now that Princess Luna, the host body of Nightmare Moon, has returned they've slowly came back to haunt and terrorize the ponies. But they know their plan. Stay silent, hidden, then attack. They don't want to disappear again. But taking over an entire town - possibly the entire country without the rulers knowing? A tough task lies ahead for them.

 

So... Let me round this up. Vampires return after 1000 years. They want to take over Ponyville, and Equestria if they can. Celestia and Luna aren't needed yet, I'll post here when they are though.

 

An intro starring Daelus, one of the vampire lords.

 

"My lady!" Daelus shouted as the blast of rainbow hit Nightmare Moon. "Noo!" She screamed, but Princess Celestia continued. Daelus was standing by the Everfree Forest castle, staring in the window at the grand hall, his vampire Clan behind him. They all crowded by the windows, trying to catch the last glimpse of their master before she was gone. Daelus glared at Celestia, unaware of the crowding vampires surrounding her castle. Regret and sadness was in her eyes. 'If you're so regretful of this, why do it? You're a monster, Celestia, and you will pay.' He thought, then noticed that the rainbow was forming a tornado around Nightmare Moon. It closed in on her, then suddenly the rainbow shot out of the roof and in to the sky. They all backed up from the castle and watched as it wrapped around the moon. After about a minute, it faded, and on the moon was the side-view of a pony. "My lady!" Some of the vampires cried out. But it was too late. Nightmare Moon had been defeated. It was over. What were they to do now?

 

His question was answered almost immediately. He felt something wrapping around him, and looked down and gasped at the sight. He was turning in to stone! He tried to fight against it, but he couldn't move his hooves. Other vampires were noticing it to, and started screaming in fright. "Curse you, Celestia!" Some yelled. "Nightmare Moon shall be avenged!" Daelus heard one say. But within seconds, the stone was crawling up to their neck. Daelus looked to his Clan. "This is not the end." He said, and looked back in the window. The castle was in ruins. But something in there caught him. Celestia was sobbing on the floor.

 

1000 long years had passed. Celestia didn't bother repairing the castle of those horrible memories. Instead, she built one as far away as she could. Daelus was still in the same position as he was as a statue, staring in to the castle. His comrades were oh so close to him, and he was sure they were all thinking the same thing. 'We will avenge our lady.' But how? They were statues.

Suddenly, a bright light flashed. In the reflection of the window, the moon was glowing unusually. A dark figure suddenly came bursting from in, streaking for the land. It passed low over the Everfree Forest, and Daelus recognized the familiar purple mane of Nightmare Moon! Had she finally returned?

 

Nightmare Moon streaked by the old Everfree Forest castle, seeing her old home in ruins. She almost looked sorry when she looked down to see familiar ponies - no, statues! 'Soon, my little ones. Soon we shall rule together.' She thought, but continued going for Ponyville. She landed gracefully on a back balcony, and kicked the door open. The pony inside turned around, and gasped, but looked down sad. "Nightmare Moon. I knew you would return." Celestia said. Nightmare Moon laughed. "Your days of ruling are over, Celestia. It's my turn now." Her horn glowed, and Celestia was gone. She waited until the trumpets played, and the curtains opened. She smiled at the noise of ponies gasping. "She's gone!" One said. Her time to shine, now. She teleported in, causing lightning to strike. "Why if it isn't my loyal subjects..." She said.

 

Stone cracked. The vampires struggled against it's weight, but finally broke free. "Free at last!" Daelus shouted. The Clan joined him, and then they took off. Daelus flew overhead while the others ran. "Nightmare Moon conquers the night!" They shouted, but stopped at the sound of voices ahead. "Into the bushes!" Daelus yelled, and they all hid. 6 ponies, 2 unicorns, 2 pegasi, and 2 earth ponies came in. Something about them made him hiss. But what? He followed them through the forest.

 

He almost lunged out at them when they reached the castle.

They had left one of the unicorns inside alone, muttering something about the Elements of Harmony, the weapons used to banish their Lady. But suddenly, Nightmare Moon was inside. She smashed the Elements. But the other 5 ponies came in, and when they were put together, a wave of rainbow came crashing down on her, forming a tornado. "No! Not again! My Lady!" The vampires shouted. But in their Lady's place, was a young blue Alicorn. Princess Luna. Nightmare Moon had told him the story. How nopony enjoyed her nights, how they respected Celestia more. But there she was, shivering.

 

Then Celestia came. She asked her to rule with her, and Luna accepted.

 

2 years later...

 

Daelus looked at the host body of his Lady. She had arrived in Ponyville for Nightmare Night, and had grown a lot. But when she turned into Nightmare Moon, just for those few seconds, he felt strength coursing through him, and grinned. "The vampires shall rule!"

 

 

Vampires

 

Once they are in sunlight, they start to get hot. And then literally sizzle. If they stay in the sun for longer than 5 minutes, they turn to ashes. They have some abilities they eventually get. But they also have to sleep during the day.

 

Level 1

 

What you are when you first are bitten and survive. No powers. No red eyes. No powers. Just some fangs. You aren't immortal - yet.

 

Level 2

 

After you've bitten 1 pony, you begin to have slightly more strength in you. Your eyes turn red. You aren't immortal yet still.

 

Level 3

 

After you have bitten 5 ponies, you have enough strength to literally rip a tree from the earth, and toss it 10 feet. Your eyes are fully red, and you turn immortal. Because of the immortality, you can run for miles. But you can be defeated in battle.

 

Level 4

 

After you have bitten 10 ponies, you have the strength to break in to walls without getting harmed. Whether it be brick or glass, it doesn't affect you. You no longer have to sleep during the day.

 

Level 5

 

After you have bitten 15 ponies, you are truly a ruthless vampire. You can smell ponies from miles away, and the mere presence of you strikes fear into ponies.

 

Vampire lords

 

The creations of Nightmare Moon that started the vampires. There are only 5, and they rule their own Vampire Clan. They also have batwings, no matter what race they are. If you start as a vampire, your OC's age is going to be over 1000, since that's when the vampires were made. If you become a vampire later on, your age is normal.

I'm just excited by the fact that Nightmare Moon might return, she is the rightful ruler of Equestria and it was evil of Celestia to destroy her true form. Is there a chance that Atum down the road might become a follower of nightmare moon? I would love to see him help bring darkness back to Equestria.

 

Also, great prologue/write-up I really really really liked it!

Hello, so no one is posting witch means I am going to try to find another RP thank you for letting me join for the short time that I did.
