movies/tv If you could bring back one cancelled TV show, which one would it be?

For me, it would be Mystery Science Theater 3000. I know it had a long run, but it's just an amazing concept with unlimited potential. Thankfully with Cinematic Titanic and Rifftrax, the guys are still doing their thing, but I do miss the show still.

 

I'd also love to see Firefly come back, I love the setting, the characters, and the writing. And for a slightly less known show, I really wish Pushing Daisies would come back too. It was a great show with a unique aesthetic, quirky style, and was a lot of fun.

 

So what shows does everypony else wish would return to our screens?

Legends of the Hidden Temple

 

There's zero kids game shows anymore. Kid game shows were the best when I was growing up, rooting for a certain team, seeing the cool prizes, wishing you were on the show.

 

I'd bring back Legends of the Hidden Temple and keep it as is. No modernization or anything. Bring back Kirk Fogg, he can be like some 50 year old explorer guy host.

I don't think it got renewed for a new season, but I'd like to see more ~

I don't think they aired that here. But I agree with the kids game show thing. I remember watching this show called Knightmare here. They should also bring back The Crystal Maze...

I would bring back "My name is Earl". I loved the humor on the series. And what also frustrated me was that at the end of the series a bunch of stuff started happening. We started to find out more and more about the characters, started to form a side plot. This was obviously because the makers saw that the ratings fell and tried their best to save it. I really wanted it to continue. I wanted at least to see Earl complete his list and become free. But no...

I wouldn't want it to come back for several seasons, just one. One season to completely end the series. Earl completes his list and everybody is happy.

That said, we DO need more sci-fi on the air. Especially space stuff. I mean, sure you get sci-fi stuff like Lost (which I didn't like) and Fringe (which I mostly like). But there's no good spacey stuff these days.
