i made another mash-up finally! http://www14.zippysh...17391/file.html

this is one idea i got in my head while i was gone for 2 weeks at my mom's place. basically i heard Marilyn Manson's songs Godeatgod and The Love Song in my head, together, and i found that they fit each other rather well, so i decided i should mash-up that when i get home.

this is probably the most complex editing i've made with a mash-up in Audacity. i made a borked try to do it 2 days ago, but put it aside, and last night i decided to get a go at it again, and finally did it! today i finished it up and uploaded it here for y'all to see if you like it or not. (:

bear in mind that this mash-up gets quite loud and noisy!

especially at the end it gets really noisy and loud. wasn't intended from the start, but i liked ending the mash-up with it being very fucking loud and noisy. cuz i like loud and noisy.

enjoy! and comment if you like it. <3

Pretty cool! It flowed a lot better than I was expecting, based on your description. Holy Wood has always been my favorite Manson album, and "Love Song" really captures its overall theme. Maybe its most haunting moment is near the end of Coma Black, when he repeats "...that we can never repair".

thanks. :3 yeh, the tracks complimented each other pretty well. the only parts that makes me irk are the loud, noisy ones because it doesn't really seem like a good attempt at doing something noisy but just 2 tracks being played together at a loud volume. maybe i'll see to add some distortion to those parts and see if it makes it any better. other than that, i consider this a successful-ish experiment.

speaking of Marilyn Manson, i got another album of his in a second-hand store 2 days ago: The Golden Age of Grotesque. it has that song It's The New Shit that so many people seem to enjoy sampling the vocals from. maybe i should do the same sometime..

That's a good one. My favorite tracks from it are "mOBSCENE", "Spade" and "Vodevil"

Ah, I remember that. It was some creepy fair with some girls tied together with some kind of freaky multi-person body suit. Like their flesh had been sewn together.
