So I was walking through this area, and then this song popped into my head. I just had to do it, as it seemed so fitting. (There's a lag spike near the end for a few seconds, as a heads up).

 

Its awesome, I would have done this early but interwebs went down for 2 days, and it it just now came back on, anyways that was awesome video, the song was perfect for the area you where in

Getting to usually inaccessable areas like this is one reason I freaking love being an engineer!

 

 

Just hanging out on top of the guard station after some epic assassin's creed style rifle jumping! This technique comes REALLY handy in platforming puzzles. It is somewhat cheap, I actually skipped an entire jumping puzzle once because of it, but I think it's fair game.

 

But yeah, I just love getting into situations like this where the only way to get to these points is through an absurd amount of "long jumps."

You should! The more the merrier! Ya the no subscription fee is quite nice, don't have to worry about wasting money by not playing for awhile. There's an in-game real money shop, but that's mostly for cosmetics and you can buy the pay currency with in-game money (at a decent conversion rate too).

Assuming you're talking about the guild Bohtty set up: There's no list of members here (someone should make one!), though if you get in the guild you can see everyone. To get in the guild just shoot Bohtty a whisper in-game and he should be able to add you. (Bohtty's in-game name is still Bohtty). If you were referring to just adding other forum users in general: A lot of their names are floating around in the guild thread, though you'd have to search for them until we get a list made.

Go for it, it's a great game. Theres a bunch of us in a guild on there (About 30-ish if im not mistaken), the combat is smooth and fluid, and the Competitive play is awesome.

Probably too late, but I'll throw some stuff out there anyway. If you find yourself taking too much damage and you aren't using evade much, you might want to try that. It becomes more useful in the later levels so is a good idea to get used to using it anyway. If you're fighting enemies that use a lot of AoE attacks, keep an eye on the ground. Enemy AoE's are marked with red circles on the ground and it's a very good idea to get out of them as fast as possible. Crafting gives a fairly good amount of XP, so it's also probably a good idea to grab a profession early on if you plan on crafting. Other than that I can't really think of anything.

There's just one bit of beef I have with this game.

1: You can't use multiple servers, and you can't change servers (Without buying a pass)

2: There aren't enough slots for one character of each class. If I could use two servers, each with different characters, this problem would be solved.

I believe you can unlock additional character slots through gems (which can be bought through real or in-game money), same with character transfers. I agree though, multiple servers and more character slots would be nice. Guess we'll have to make do though, not a really big drawback imo.

Yeah, shortly after I posted that, I found out you can buy it with gems or money,

It's nice having the option. It makes me feel like I earned it, and it gives Anet money from unpatient people.

if you're one to do WvW like I am, you can see why they only allow one server to play on. Limits the ability to log off and onto a server thats dominating the WvW map. Though with them having free transfers it doesnt help much either.

Free transfers are temporary, and you're locked out of WvW a little while after transferring if I remember right. Still though, makes sense. Don't remember how long the lock-out time is.

In the latest Nightly Roundup on EqD, there was a segment on another pony guild on Dragonbrand called 'Canterlot Vanguard'. I think you oughta get in contact with him, Bohtty, and see if he doesn't wanna be absorbed by Everfree. His names are Chezne.5612 and Chezne Wildyon in-game, and you can also find the segment itself in the link below.

*Dives deep into the mass of posts, returning to the surface carrying this thread* Finally hit level 80! My current plans are to finish up the personal story, do the 4 dungeons I haven't done yet in Story Mode (at least), then go from there. I'll probably do all the puzzles I can lay my hands on, try some WvW, do some more SPvP, run a lot of Explore Mode in dungeons, and do all that fun stuff. Also, here's an amusing bug I found. Was an invisible object of some sort in the middle of the road:

 

 

 

 

 

 

So, whats everypony else been up to?

 

EDIT: Oh and I bought the Digital Deluxe upgrade with in-game money, so now I'm broke. Up-side is it saved me about 30 bucks!

Im thinking of maybe going ranger, it could be somewhat nostalgic to my warlock in WoW with the pet and what not. Also, I want Beaky to return from GW1 (my awesome white moa pet that dealt pathetic damage, but I kept with me at all times.)

My mains a ranger, and they are really fun professions to play as. Short Bows and Greatswords are incredibly fun,and they're pretty effective "mosquitoes" in PvP.

Bit old news but... GW2 has an official Mac client! It's in beta at the moment but if you own GW2 then you have access to it. Unsure how many of you knew that (or cared, or even use a mac) but figured I might as well throw it out there. THE THREAD LIVES! The guild is more or less dead (probably partly due to Botty's random vanishing and not changing lead combined with others just generally losing interest). I haven't been playing much lately due to a multitude of other games and MMORPGs but keep my eye on all the updates and patch notes.

pretty much a dead guild now. It'd be interesting to reform though. It'll be harder though since everyone has established themselves on servers by now.

REVIVAL! Was wanting to know what everyone thinks of the Super Adventure Box and what you've got from it! Personally I'm loving it and can't wait for more. I got the Super Longbow Skin from a chest, and coughed up the gold for the shield. Almost got enough Bauble Bubbles for the backpack. Also I'm getting back into the game quite a bit more now. Anyone else?

I regrettably haven't had time to jump into the Super Adventure Box yet, so I hope they're gonna keep it around for a little while.

 

I tend to ebb in and out of the game, but when I get on a spree, it's kinda hard to yank me away and my productivity in life hits some all-time lows.
