DJRainBoom 4 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 The saddest thing is how anerexic kids get from hunger in places like Africa. It's so sad! I guess i might be more on the sensitive side but i'd like to hear from the tuff guys (and gals) what makes YOU wanna cry? Hey you! Yeah you! No, not you, the other guy! Yeah, YOU! ..... spas-ticShotty 3,584 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 I don't see many sad things, and if it is sad, it is in a movie ('Cause I can get pussyish like that). Titanic made me especially sad (I know, I know, real cheesy example, but come on, how would you be feeling if you were in Rose' position?)

Juggler 345 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 There was a video floating around the internet a couple of years ago, it was removed countless times on different websites, but I got "lucky" and saw it. The video showed two guys brutally murdering another guy by torture... I don't want to talk about specific details, but that was the saddest thing that I have ever seen... I don't remember why I watched the video in the first place, it was probably curiosity... But I regret that decision so badly. Even if I remembered the videos name I would not post it's name here, because others might find it, and if someone of you remember the name. Please, don't post it here. Viridian Daybreak 66 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 I suppose the saddest thing I've ever seen was my sister and mother's crying face when my cat died. It was the worst day of my life (I haven't lost a person dear to me yet) and I didn't dare go outside to see my cats corpse lying on the road. But if I did, then that would be it. Ol' Sarge 885 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 I was the Assistant Scout Leader for my sons' Scout Troop and we were camping out as part of a Camporee put on by our District Council. That evening, we had a fun race planned that involved the scouts pulling a wagon that we had made around in a field. I watched and cheered from the sidelines as they raced around. About half way through the first lap, one of the scouts fell down. I thought he tripped, so I ran out to check on him and by the time I got there one of the parents who happened to be an EMT (Paramedic) had started doing CPR on the boy. Off to the side his mother was screaming and crying. The ambulance arrived and they took him away to the hospital, where he later died of heart failure. I am trained to go to war, to encourage other young men to go into battle knowing that they might not come back. I am trained to deal with a Soldier's death and to keep my men focused, to keep fighting. How the F*CK do you train to tell a bunch of 12 and 13 year olds that their friend just died? In the end, every scout stayed because he would have wanted them to. I encouraged them to make a gesture of respect and always leave one chair open for him at their meetings and at the campfire, kind of like the military does for POW/MIAs. They agreed. That was four years ago and last I heard, they still keep that chair open. 11 This Signature Brought to you by Dragonshy Signature Service
Dragonshy 2,305 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 I saw my dog get hit by a car. The guy just sped off and he knew he hit my dog. I was so sad and also had anger at the guy. If he had stopped and showed some damn sympathy the situation wouldn't had been as bad as he made it. I still miss my dog though, and it was my fault for not teaching him to listen more obediently. 1 Yeh Want to know how to get more page views? Click here. be my waifu 2,842 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 This thread is giving me a bunch of feels already Probably the funeral for my cousin who died in a car accident. I didn't cry myself (and to this day I still don't know why, considering how emotional I am), but it was horribly depressing. Kalakauer 20 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 Has anyone seen Elfen Lied? It's an anime, very brutal, but with the saddest and most emotional story I have ever seen. I cried at one point when some kids killed the dog of the protagonist (as a child) by hitting it with a stone. It was so sad and cruel "No matter what. We have to live our lives with no regrets." - Portgas D. Ace
moneyshredderofdeath 414 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 One of my guinea pigs passed away only a month after the guinea pig she shared a cage with died. (both were 4 1/2, average for their species) The first to die was in failing health, so it was expected in spite of the sadness, but the latter death was sudden and likely seemed to be because she couldn't live without the other. She had nothing wrong with her body.

Drehgunklew 136 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 Well, we had a kitty named Simba when I was 5-6 I think. One day, he drank washer fluid and his throat just... I think it started to corrode. It was awful, he wasn't even 2 months old... I saw him on the ground and there was blood on the ground, beneath his mouth. I started to cry and picked him up, ran to mom and we didn't know what to do... Mom said that we should wait, 'cause she didn't know that he drank washer fluid. I held him tight against my chest and cried. Then I sat on our couch, held him tight and I knew he was going to die... He became weaker and weaker. It ran blood from his mouth and then he stopped breathing... It didn't take so long before he died, maybe 10-15 minutes but it felt like 1 hour... Kazuki Fuse 534 July 24, 2012 Share July 24, 2012 When I was 10, watching my dad slowly die from leukemia, every week we'd visit him in the hospital and it killed me inside watching him get worse everytime. Then of course the day came where we got 'the call'. The only day I can think of that was worse for me was 5 years later, my older brother Derrick dying in a driving accident. Shit, this thread is a bummer. Eh? Nandatte?

NeverNeverland 1,940 July 24, 2012 Share July 24, 2012 A ton of things, but I'll nail it down to three. -The scene in the Iron Will episode where Fluttershy's just yelling at Pinkie and Rarity. Now, I don't care much for Rarity, but the look on Pinkie Pie's face when she was getting picked on... it was the only scene in MLP that made me feel bad for a character. - Rarity's pretty sad, but Pinkie Pie... oh dear Pinkie Pie... -This was back in December while I was in Ethiopia. When we went to go visit a small village that my mother's great great parents founded. It was the most rural place on the planet, and everyone was happy and content living their lives knowing that they only needed the clothing on their backs, Jesus and the Lord, and the land to live happily. The saddest part was that the said village was the burial place of my mom's parents. Seeing her cry, especially when being told that the village needs money in order to be kept in tact (for some odd reason, not sure), hit me hard considering I never met my grandmother (and only meeting my grandfather once). -Again, another story from my time in Ethiopia. We were getting ready to leave; on our way to the airport, and seeing my dad's mother's sad look on her face (she's been meaning to visit us in Canada, but because her Visa got screwed up by my uncle she can''t) made me feel REALLY sad. But the worst part was my dad's concern for someone we refered to as Ababyea (rough translation; in Amharic in generally means father, but in this case it was his nickname - translated, "Big Daddy"). He's basically blind and old and somewhat sick, and when he went to visit him, my dad came and when he saw Ababyea in bed he thought he was dead. It shocked him and I felt really crap looking at my dad who cared a lot for him. It turns out he was sleeping, so it was all good. The final bit about this story was that about a month ago, Ababyea had to go into surgery, and because Ethiopian Healthcare (or African Healthcare in general) is horrible, the doctor's fucked up and (from what I remember) he'd become permanently blind. Again, my dad told me this after speaking with his aunt over the phone, and we both just kinda felt sad. Only difference is he was able to keep it hidden from us (which pissed me off for some reason, considering that while he's not one to show a lot of sad emotion this hit him hard in the gut) while I just cursed under my breath for about 15 minutes. He's expected to live a few more years, 5 or more hopefully. This is the only story I've told that almost made me tear up, despite it not involving me but moreso my dad. And I apologize for the long post.
