FPS games should just stay on PC. Why? Because the mouse is more natural to the games. Also, no aim-helping on PC FPS.

This will be an unpopular opinion on this site, but I don't really like the brony fandom much. I see so many complaints about when people get bashed for liking this show by non-fans. They say "Why do you like this show? It's for little girls. You should grow up." And some members of this fandom will get all defensive.

 

Turn around, say you're a Rarity fan. Members of this fandom are all like "Why don't you like a better pony? Rarity sucks, you should find a new best pony." It happens to me all the time, and I'm just tired of that brand of hypocrisy. 

Saying "broinies" feels like FAR too much of a generalization. They're the best of us and the worst of us, and I've encountered both (although, generally on the better side.)

I prefer console gaming over PC Gaming in terms of exclusives.

 

I still think PC is better for multi-plats though.

 

I think Twilight Sparkle's starting to become a little (as much as I hate saying this) overrated.

 

Friendship is Witchcraft, as much as I used to like it, is bad. It basically has the same problem as Johnny Test, CatDog and Family Guy have - All the characters are dipholes.

Not sure if this opinion is unpopular, but I HATE Christmas music! What I hate the most about the Holiday Season is the constantly overplaying of Christmas songs and the 500 different versions of those same songs. I mean, I've heard five different versions of "Last Christmas" while I was at work last week. The past few years, I've been liking Christmas music less and less. Now, I can't even stand it anymore.

IMO The writers have made 3 VERY serious plot errors over the years

 

1) Discord is TOO DAMN POWERFUL.  If they had said "He can't harm the Mane 6 against their will", he would have been a much better villain.  Return to Harmony, he (arguably) didn't hurt them, he just put them in touch w their own dark side. Hey, enlightenment is good, right? & by entering the maze, they consented to his wager, right?

 

2) Making Twilight an alicorn princess is just too much.  Yes, Season 4 was Best Season Ever.  But, she has just grown beyond her friends.  She has responsibilities all over EQ & is Princess C's Top Trouble Shooter.  The others have their own life & can't compete.

 

3) Season 4 finale IMO, Discord should have just thanked Tirok for the idea & kicked him to the curb.   What, exactly, did Tirok bring to the party that Discord couldn't have gotten all by himself?  Plus, why the Hell was Discord surprised Tirok turned on him?  He used to have a functioning brain, what happened to him?  Plus, they put it all on Twilight, IMO it would have been better to have all 4 alicorns play Tag Team The Baddie (Tirok or Discord, whoever).  They could have kept the battle scenes & not increased Twilight's power level

 

Don't get me wrong, they haven't "jumped the shark" yet & Season 5 could be Best Season Ever. But, they've got some plot holes to write around.

From one who grew up with one and liked to take it everywhere, the Gameboy Advance wasn't that great. The only good exclusives were the Sonic Advance series, those Crash Bandicoot 2D games and Pokemon Gen 3. The rest of the good games were SNES exclusives, otherwise the library is FULL of shovelware. Plus, the sound is horrible. I'd still stay it's pretty good, just not really Top 10-worthy.

 

Also, the Playstation 2 wasn't that great either. It's good, but once again, not Top 10 worthy. There wasn't that many "great" exclusives on it imo, and it wasn't very good for multiplats.

I'm absolutely sick and tired of this whole "racist white cop" drama.

This opinion could transcend unpopular and be flat out controversial, but I'm going to say it.

 

The Michael Brown thing got really out of hand. It was ridiculous. It's not like the kid was exactly a model citizen. I think if he would have complied with the officer, this could have been avoided. And everybody acting like a bunch of animals wouldn't have solved things either. "Yeah let's destroy the homes and businesses of anyone and everyone who wasn't involved with this! That'll show those cops!" That was what I thought was most tragic. People losing their livelihoods over one defiant, arrogant hoodlum. Do I think he should have been shot? I don't know. I don't know what happened so I can't render my opinion on this. Or, well, I could, but I don't want to without having evidence to prove what did or did not happen. Do I think this could have been avoided? One hundred forty percent, yes. Even if the cop was a racist and just wanted to shoot the kid for no reason, there was a better way to handle the situation than rioting. Acting like a bunch of animals makes you no better than the cop who shot and killed the kid. Actually, it makes you worse. Looting and destroying the businesses of people who had nothing to do with it is barbaric. I think the reason most people were rioting was because they had a reason to loot and pillage. The people who actually gave half a shit were peacefully protesting. 

 

I think racism is wrong. I think abuse of power is toxic. But you know what, Ferguson? How about there not be any cops in your town? If they're so bad and racist, then let's just take them all away and see how much better it would be.

 

I think it's these kids who believe they're hot stuff and they're above the law. And it's the parents' faults for not teaching them about a little thing called respect. It goes a long way, whether you're black, white, Vietnamese, Czech, Russian, Mexican, Canadian, Arapaho, Brazilian, German, Ethiopian, British, Chinese, Australian, French, Libyan, Seminole, Egyptian, Saudi Arabian, Israeli, Japanese, or whatever you are. Treat someone with respect and odds are they'll treat you the same. You teach a kid to respect law and the officers who enforce it, and he will only get into trouble once in a blue moon.

By "I'm not gonna take it sitting down.", I mean "I'm gonna argue against it relentlessly without getting violent." I don't know if the fault is on you for deploying a straw man, or if it's on me for misusing the saying (Did I misuse it?), but now you get my point.
