Guardians of the Galaxy is honestly overrated. It's more like an Adam Sandler movie than any kind of comic book movie. It's full of laughs, a hot babe, and wacky other things, but it's not nearly the "savior of the summer blockbuster" that it's been hailed as. It holds far too many traits about it that just seemed too Millennial as a film. I loved the use of prosthetic make-up in it, and the retro 70's and 80's music, but the film itself was just so busy. It suffers from what a lot of films suffer from these days: too much story. The origin of the summer blockbuster was simple, and this one just packed so much into a two hour film. The thing about a two hour film is that it should feel like it's two hours. It should be able to be broken up into, 3 or 4 acts, and it shouldn't really have too many locations. They went to, what, 5 different locations? Take a movie like Raiders of the Lost Ark. They keep it simple: jungle, University, Nepal, desert. Or Jaws: Amity and Ocean. Or Jurassic Park: desert, Costa Rican cafe, island. In Raiders, alone, they were only in one spot for the entirety of Nepal: Marion's bar. We didn't see Indy in the airport, we didn't see Indy going to the Bar, or leaving it, or stopping to ask for directions. We just see Marion's bar. That's it. Simple. GotG, like many blockbusters these days, feel the need to show as much of every setting as they can. Entering the location, getting to the location, interacting within the location in several different areas, having a conflict in the location, and finally leaving the location with a purpose. Hell, that was the entirety of the Cairo scene, which made up most of Raiders! Guardians of the Galaxy uses this formula for 3 different scenes: Nova Corps fight, Prison, AND Knowhere. Granted, the scenes are of varying length, but the nature of a repetitive formula makes for an overly crowded film.

- Tribalism is part of the reason why people can't get along and why conflicts appear. It is everywhere and while it can fulfill the need to belong, taking it to the extreme can lead to discrimination, hate speech, and even fighting and violence. There's nothing wrong with a little pride in what you're part of, just don't take it to the extreme.

- There is nothing wrong with having an ego as long as it is nothing other than liking yourself and showing individuality instead of hating yourself. I mean, we have to have some self-esteem to remind us how special we are.

All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.

The Legend of Korra ending was awful. It was a complete and utter ass-pull, there was no genuine romantic development between the two characters. Its contrived ending was an insult to any one who consider themselves a fan. They said they weren't going to do any more romance, so why squeeze in some during literally the last 45 seconds? What is this, amateur hour?

The action, story, animation, the world building, and the fight choreography were brilliant and set a new bar for action cartoons, which are very much a dying breed. THESE are what need to be praised, not a horse crap "progressive" ending that literally only took 45 seconds.

The ending completely soured the whole series, and I refuse to buy the 4th season to complete my collection. Korra was supposed to be about finding ourselves, finding, focusing, and achieving inner peace, finding the balance within. But no, they had to go and ruin it. A complete disappointment that will forever sour the series.

THIS. 1000X THIS. Where I live it's legal to change lanes and NOT use your signal and it drives me bloody f***ing nuts! Like, HOW am I supposed to know you wanna get over if you don't use it?

Along with this should be the people who put their signals on at the last minute.

Also, I've got another one:

I hate sports. I find watching them to be boring on all levels and will never understand the obsession with American Football.

The media puts too much emphasis on political correctness, having a double standard, sensitive to other groups and indifferent to others.

There is nothing wrong with having an ego, as long as you can back up your bragging that is.

There is good in everyone. No exceptions.

That being said, no one deserves death. No one.

People who hate themselves annoy me to no end.

Misanthropy is a joke.

Korra was not a good successor to The Last Airbender, but still watchable.

As of now, there are only two bad 3D Sonic games, seriously, what's everyone's problem with him?

Dont understand why Naruto gets so much hate. I'm not big one anime, but Naruto is actually one of the better ones.

Marvel is getting too confident with their cinematic universe.

Being overpowered is not a bad character trait.

Getting rid of organized government wont solve anything.

Call of Duty is a solid series.

There is only one bad CMC episode.

Cartoons aren't dying. Some of the best exist right now.

By calling the religious intolerant and condemning their beliefs, you are guilty of the same thing that you accuse them of being.

Sonic 06 is best 3d sonic game, aside from Colors.

I personally find bad games hilarious. Considering picking up Superman at some point.

Metroid and Star Fox are TOTALLY overrated, and if you're one of those "No wii u until new metroid" people, just... go.

Morrowind > every fantasy open-world rpg

The PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube are all equally great consoles.

-I HATE Christmas music, even during Christmas time. I have ONE Christmas song I'll play, but only because it reminds me of Niamh from Silk.

The Legend of Korra. Fucking. Sucks. I have an extreme hate for it, should have never existed. Frozen is also the most overrated movie on this planet and the songs can go burn in hell. Call of Duty is a good franchise, just has made major mistakes in the past 3 games. COD 1-MW3 were great, the future games just suck. People hate on the FPS Genre WAY too much. Also, people who live in the past too much, especially for video games, annoy the living shit out of me. Enjoying old games for the sake of nostalgia is great, I do it all the time, but blocking out modern games just because they don't "compare" to your old games is just annoying. It's alright if you don't like them, but give them a chance first, then make a judgement on the game itself, and not compare it to its predecessors.

I dislike overglorification of features of consoles. In fact, it's one of the main reasons why I think the 7th and 8ths gens are the worst gaming gens so far. I mean, it's nice to have features, but when game companies try to make it the #1 priority, it's kind of stupid. Which is also one of the reasons why I'm not a big fan of the Xbox One at all. Basically, I want a game console, not a DVR or Blu-Ray player.

OMG ALL FPS GAMES SUCK AND THERE'S WAY TOO MANY TODAY INSTEAD WE SHOULD HAVE 1,000,000 SIDE-SCROLLING PLATFORMERS LIKE THE 90S DID.

What if I like FPS games and side-scrolling platformers? even though the latter is actually my favorite gaming genre

I don't have to respect your religion or your holy things. We shouldn't let ignorance roam free without resistance.

Respect =/= Belief

Trust me, Tails, that's not only your problem.

The sixth generation of consoles was the best ever. So, what was that about my nostalgia goggles?

Seriosuly, the Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox are all excellent consoles, and I've also learned to love the Dreamcast over the years.

Umm... what?

No, my beliefs are sentient.

They're me. You respect my beliefs, you respect me. Kupo?

I can have respect for whatever I want. You may be a good person who helps other people, and that will make me respect you as a person. But that doesn't mean I won't treat the Bible as any other hunk of paper, or point out stupidity I find in it.
