Here's the deal: the deviantART group "MLPFriendshipIsMagic" is hosting another month-long contest with dA membership prizes and I'm thinking of entering. The theme is "pony OC's", meaning everyone has to draw, paint, whatever - someone else's original character.

 

So if you want me to draw your OC as my entry for the contest, post a description (or more preferably, an image) of him/her here. I'll only pick one I think would make a good-looking, interesting artwork (so no multicoloured alicorns with clown makeup, okay?)

 

I'll post the finished work here in one month, so you can see the results, too.

Well here is Pavlova Puff:

(The pony on the left).

She is based off a fluffy meringue based dessert.

The texture of her hair is like something from needle felting. Matted and fluffy.

She is very soft-hearted and genial. She's near mute. A bit like a teddy bear. She expresses herself through action and gesture. She draws pictures and designs for food arrangements by commission. Her only close friend (Lamington, pictured next to her) is quite introverted and enjoys her company.

Not sure what else to know of her, my ideas for her in drawings and paintings just flow onto the paper for her P:

Well... you can give Artsy Dreamscapes a shot. She's got some kind of specific features that aren't just part of my art style. For instance, shorter than a normal pony, and a bit chubbier. Here:

Ooooh, I wouldn't mind jumping in on this contest, alas, I have much work to be done before taking on any more personal wants. However, if you like, you can give my OC a crack at it.

 

I'm a bit of freak in real life, so I think this Ponysona is befitting me. Not too extravagant or exaggerated, just the small things that make me different and unique among other Pegasus.

 

When I first joined, at the time, I noticed no other member had an OC quite like mine.

 

Her name is Violet Spiral.

 

 

She has heterochromia of the iris, her right eye being red, and her left eye, purple.

 

She sports singular elongated feathers on each wing (A trait I noticed on a few birds in real life that I like) Helps with agile flight.

 

and lastly, she has a secondary tail of feathers growing from her croup, just above her dock

 

I hope you like it. This OC is my pride and joy.

 

Speaking of Joy, My secondary OC is up for a try if you like as well.

That's a lot of replies! I really like your Violet Spiral, Dizzy Ditzy Doo. I'll propably draw her, but that's not a definite decision yet.

I've only just started my art hobby and haven't really developed a personal style yet. I'll put special effort into this contest, though.

My OC's aren't much, but it I were to give you a choice I would suggest you to draw Forest Glen or Greenbelt because they're are the most visually appealing.
