ooc Shifted: The Remake (OOC)

You'll be glad to know the romance of Klopp and Magenta is anything but fading. There wasn't really much else for me to post, save some more romancegasms, so I figured I'd just go with it!

 

Even so, I noticed my post was a bit short, so I decided to add in a few of Magenta's thoughts. Maybe she's having a bit of a foreshadowing of things to come? Surely, things can't keep going this smooth forever, can they?

Anyway, guys, complete and utter memory loss is NOT Shifted canon. As you can see, Artsy and Jack are able to remember everything perfectly. All it says in the first post is that everyone forgot their NAMES. So whilst you guys can have that if you want, I'm just saying that you don't HAVE to have forgotten everything. In fact, I think it's rather silly that everyone's been doing that when I only said NAMES and said NOTHING about memory loss in any other area. @_@

@, Magenta seems to be one of the only ones who actually remembers everything about her old life on Earth (except her name, of course). Perhaps this could be useful as a plot device? I hope people haven't forgotten that except for Silver Arrow, Magenta was in Equestria a few days before everyone else. As far as the Romance Club goes (our little group has a name now! ), she likely has a lot more knowledge of the area, even if it is rather limited.

I suspect Numbers and Ice Storm continued ahead, and she would have just been following behind them trying to block out the memory of Number's junk.

I'll try to simplify it for you. Ice, Electro, Silver, Numbers, and me went with Aurora to explore Ponyville, stopping first at the Golden Oaks Library. Ice Storm wanted to stay at the library to explore for some answers as well as Silver. Numbers had a flashback of an arcade while Alex had a flashback of a girl from his past. All of a sudden, a new challenger named Carrot Top arrived and SHE SHAT ON A TURTLE!... Seriously though, Carrot Top started talking to Ice Storm for some reason...

 

One question: Does it come in Blu-Ray?

I read the article! It has special features and COMMENTARIES!! This is so awesome!!

 

Also $25 is pretty cheap for a full season disc set--they're usually like $60. Try telling me this isn't a gift to the bronies!! I will most certainly be buying.

Goooooood... I read the first two pages when there were 10 total pages and have to head back to work. Bout a week later, Head back and see 12 pages...

I dunno man, in my experience, doing that is kind of like watching a movie you're supposed to write a full report on, but you only watch the latter half of it. It can lead to a lot of confusion and miscommunications, down the road...

 

You could just skim read it, I think. That would be better than skipping entire pages of the story, in my opinion.

I might have to do that. Upon reading page 11, all I understand is ponies rolling into a lake, trying to find someone, and mention of a zompony for some reason. I am very much lost, but I blame you all. XD

Some of what was posted a few pages ago was reiteration of the same events, just from different characters' points of view. While they give depth to the characters, if you're in a hurry, you can skim those pretty easily without missing anything important. I have a feeling dialogue and flashbacks are probably what you want to pay the most attention to. The flashbacks are probably going to be referenced later in the story.

Oooh, yes! The Romance Club officially has another romance in the works!

 

But for what it's worth, I'm actually glad this RP as a whole hasn't turned into a soap opera. I've actually seen RPs do that: they start out great with lots of action and plot development... but then they slowly degenerate into an entirely different kind of plot, if you get my meaning. http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png

 

Leading up to a ship is great, but there's only so much you can do with the story when everyone's rolling around in the grass...

 

Now you know why I went with the comic relief route for Magenta! Every story needs the Artoo-Threepio combo!
