It's great how it starts out kinda lame but then bursts into other colors. Took me about a minute into the song before I realized I could click on things and make it even more awesome. xD

Was... was that Rainbow Dash in there? I mean, just look at that It's totally Rainbow Dash. That was a pretty awesome thing. I just with it would let you upload your own music.

I'm fairly certain this exercise was made specifically for this song so it's not like other things that evolve depending on tones and notes.

I really liked the music personally but no, it seems it was made entirely with this song in mind. Of course it would be awesome to do something like this with your own music.
