WildCard 1,037 August 19, 2012 Share August 19, 2012 WOW!!! This guy is awesome!!! Thank you so much dude!!! I don't even care I don't understand a word XD (even though I had that in mind when starting this topic ) You won't understand much, even if you know German a bit, because he sings with a heavy Austrian/Viennese accent mixed with some English^^He also often had some darker/a bit morbid themes in his songs This one for example is sung from the point of view of a criminal who kidnapped a girl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVK6mCxNFwo Oh and we also have some minor pop-punk bands(who sing English xD). But I have to admit they sound a bit weak to their american counterparts^^ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WPy37Nn6ek&feature=related And I liked your songs too. This kind of hip-hop is awesome OC was made by Princess Ariona. Juggler 345 August 19, 2012 Share August 19, 2012 Here in Sweden we have one band that I like. They don't normally sing in Swedish though, but they recently recorded a good song which was sung in Swedish. The band is called Sabaton (which actually was started in my neighbor town, 30 min from here!) Signature made by Midnightive

Brook 663 August 19, 2012 Author Share August 19, 2012 Glad to see someone who appreciates it! As far as I know, it's just you, me and my dad and his friends! Which song? They are both rockin', but personally I prefer Wheels of Steel. People don't appreciate classic rock? When did that happen? lol And yes, Wheels of heelsbeelsgleels was better (imo). Ask me anything! Brook 663 August 19, 2012 Author Share August 19, 2012 That's another point, actually. You said it was classic rock... See there I'd have to debate. This was metal at the time of creation (or perhaps hard rock mixed with pop elements, some of their songs are heavy yet very cheery!) and I really fail to see how it now becomes classic... I've always pictured classic rock as the very first original rock songs like The Beatles, they were classic rock. Your thoughts? I feel this is getting off topic, but since you asked so nicely... I really have no idea dude XD To me this is 80's rock music, doesn't really matter what genre, as long as it's fun to listen to :3 And yes The Beatless were a rock band, a SOFT, VERY SOFT, rock band. I think classic "rock" goes back to the 30's with vadeville, now THAT's a genre to listen to, those 30's people knew how to party with style! Ask me anything! Ah Great Britain. So many good bands are from your country and Saxon are no exception. Bunches 81 August 19, 2012 Share August 19, 2012 im not sure how you would describe good bands... but Good Charlotte came from my state, All Time Low went to my highschool, and the city just produces some amazing shit all the time - including it's own genre: Baltimore Club Music. currently im really into mike mcfadden, although i don't know him well, he and i have gone through elementary, middle, and high school together and i've seen him grow into quite an amazing musician. i also love chris jacobs who recently reinvented his sound after the breakup of the bridge, a baltimore staple for kids in the jam scene. and for those into punk and anarcho-political-folk type, meet mister ryan harvey & evan greer. both incredible, and both are from my hometown. Cocodrillo 1,565 August 19, 2012 Share August 19, 2012 (edited) Yeah, we have some really great in Czech Republic. The most of "young generation bands" sing in english, so have an oldschool band, Lucie (czech form of name Lucy), the song is named "I want to sleep in you again" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGCh3iWYosY Edit: I made a translation for you. (it was kinda difficult, damn poets.) You´re silent and the world is a "funny" mystery, It becomes a "honey" for me , when dragon´s claws hews. Dark dungeon screams, will shine through the darkness, Rubs my hair with a torch and flies above the water. Chorus: And I invoke rough forces, have injustice for breakfast, I see your eyes in my head, it´s all one big strenght. If you really fit I don´t know, I won´t go to sleep, You bring boys to the college and you want to marry in the morning. If you fit me I might go sleep to your place, With love we´re wading in the scent, I don´t want to trade bed kingdom for a horse, I´m on the same page, I like you. Apple, you´re not the apple, I´ll bite deeper and kiss away you whole, Merci, yes merci, I´m leaving the desperate´s paradise I want to sleep in you again. You say the World is beautiful, the world is evil, when our star will switch off, haude haude hey. Tag-rag is wading through the luck, I´m not saying Looking for, giving birth to truth, they don´t know, they´re not undressing you baby. Chorus. On our own we´re bowing before shores, like a paralyzed stream On our own we´re facing the waves, we want to get rid of the chains. On our own we´re bowing before shores, like a paralyzed stream, yeah On our own we´re facing the waves. I´m on the same page, I like you. I´m on the same page, I like you. Apple, you´re not the apple I´ll bite deeper and kiss away you whole Merci, yes merci, I´m leaving the desperate´s paradise I want to sleep in you again. Brook 663 August 19, 2012 Author Share August 19, 2012 sadly there are like none in my town. i know someone who's brother is in a band, but its like screamo and not very good OH GOD anything but a screamo, jesus christ that is the most terrifying genre I've ever heard. Yea, personally I met only two other czech bronies on this forum. So tell me, what do you like? I´ll find some other song for you ;D Well, I'm not sure what I like to be honest. There are many songs in many genres which I like, but there also songs that I don't really like that much, even if it fits what I listen to the most. Therefore, I can't really tell you what I would like to hear specificlly, but if you have anymore good songs that you want to share, feel free. I guess what I'm saying is, basiclly, anything, might like it, might not, but the important thing is to share your country's best music (or at least, the music you enjoy). Ask me anything! Um... it ends too early... lawl? It's not that great, kind of generic, but that may be because I heard WAYYY too many "guy-band" (boy band + rock band) songs when I was little. (My sister made me listen to them). So all-in-all, not a stand out to me, but I guess some people might like it... maybe. Edited August 19, 2012 by RiverBankNut Ask me anything!
