Earth saw Octavinyl and Flame Dancer running from a giant...monster, monstrosity made up of ugly matter. "Alright, everypony come over here! I'm getting us out of here! Unless you would all like to spend more time running from that THING!" Earth Opal began moving the earth away from the roof by millimeters, before shouting once more, "Come on, we've gotta get outta here!"

Misty changed course immediately. She glided towards the mass of earth that Earth Opal held aloft. She landed and dropped her lead pipe. "What is this thing? Will it protect us? Cause if it won't, flying works just as well for me, and I wouldn't be a giant target unlike with this thing." she said, studying the platform of soil beneath her.

"It won't protect us, but in a few seconds I will fly it away from here, Octavinyl can decide. We might even have to leave some ponies behind if they don't come on now." He looked toward Air Opal, who just shrugged, signifying that he would have to go through the painful action of abandoning some of the group.

 

((OOC: Next post I'm moving the thing away from the roof, so I'll give you guys some time first. ))

Octavinyl placed the black stallion on the object Earth Opal made. "We can't leave anypony behind and that is an order!" she said to them as she flew back to the others. The look her eye made it clear that she was determined to bring everypony to safety.

I will fly with somepony on my back. Flame said landing next to Octavinyl. Maybe someone who is injured or Red...Oh no red is still downstairs. Flame said jumping up and flying down the stairs as fast as he could.

Once he got to the room where Red was being kept Flame realized he had forgot the key to the door,so he backed up and ran at the door body checking it. We gotta go NOW. He said to the pony.

Starbolt was still unconscious next to Vinyl Blade.

Fae tried to drag Starbolt to the platform Opal made but she was to heavy for her. She turned and pulled Vinyl Blade's mane hoping she would notice Starbolt.

 

The infected made their way up to the door on the roof, thankfully Starbolt's spell kept them from breaking down the door. The infected banged and hit the door, but it held. For now.....

 

(OOC Somepony help Starbolt please, Heading to bed for me though good night.)

Silver Heart was sitting on the platform that Opal had made and watching everypony move onto the platform. She looked out at the roof and saw Starbolt and Fae running onto the roof. Silver Heart panicked as she saw Starbolt collapse next to Vinyl Blade. She rose up as she waited for Starbolt to get up and finish running to the platform but she never did. Silver Heart got up and ran over to her. She levitated Starbolt onto her back and tried to run over to the platform. Fear coursed through her as the infected closed in on them from behind.

At the order by Octavinyl, Ruby took a place to the left of the barricades, armed with her 'spear'. She ignored all the thoughts she had had before when the monsters started to pour in, and tried as good as she could to attack them and make it harder for them to get closer.

 

She followed the group towards the roof and watched in awe when Earth Opal made the huge platform of earth. She flapped her wings a little, wishing that she would also be able to help more then with just a spear that wasn't even a real spear, nor a weapon and walked on to the platform with the others.

"What's wrong Fae?... Little Johnny fell down a well? No? Starbolt is unconscious next to me? Ok, let's get her on to the platform." Vinyl turned and saw that Silver Heart was already on it, but was having a bit of trouble. "Here, let me help you."

((OOC: Okay, it seems like everypony is on the platform, so I'm gonna move.))

 

"Okay, I think that's everypony." He looked around, looking for Red." Except one. Where's Red?" The answer came from the pony he didn't expect to answer. "He's gone. Vanished into thin air without a trace," Air Opal said, looking grimly at Earth, who looked, shocked, at Air Opal. "Alright then, let's get this thing moving." He started moving the hovering platform away from the roof, just when the giant monster like zombie arrived at the roof. Earth Opal cursed quietly, trying to move away from the roof as fast as he could, the creature gaining speed. It jumped, flying toward the platform with teeth bares...but it missed, but only by a few centimeters. It fell onto the ground among the zombies, howling all the way down. Earth released the breath he had been holding and asked Octavinyl, "Where to?"

Flame came running back up the stairs unable to find Red. Where the buck did he go ? He thought trying to pull open the door. Oh buck. He said under his breath as he flew back down the stairs, he saw a big open window. Here we go. He thought flying as fast as he could at the window.

 

 

(OOC: I thought you just switched Standoff for red so standoff was in the room, no need to get angry, Also how would I know that Standoff is an expert at breaking out of hospital rooms ?)

Flame came running back up the stairs with Standoff on his back towards the roof but when he tried to open the door it was magically sealed shut. Oh Buck. He said running back down the stairs towards a big window, looking out he saw all the pony's from the hospital sitting on a Giant patch of earth flying through the sky, he placed Standoff on the floor a couple feet away from the window, He grabbed a chair and threw it at the window smashing it to tiny pieces, he picked up Standoff and flew out the window as fast as he could.

 

(OOC: I went down to the main lobby to let Standoff out of his cell room thingy)

 

Dude, Standoff doesn't need to be carried. And he was in the basement and got onto the roof.. And if he WAS in a cell, he would have absolutely no trouble getting out. Pay more attention!)

"Okay, I told myself that I shouldn't use the Insta-Switch without a very good reason, and this seems to qualify, so I don't think I did one of those ridiculous spur-of-the-moment things again. Good." The pony addresses everyone on the flying rock thingy. "So, mares and gentlecolts, what's the plan?"

Flame smashed through the glass and flew as fast as he could towards the floating piece of earth.

Once he had caught up he landed on the platform. Didn't anypony hear me saying I was going to look for Re- Who are you ? He asked looking at Standoff. Sorry I interrupted... So who are you ? He asked Standoff again.

Air rolled his eyes, "Like we weren't doing that before Red arrived." Earth looked at Air and glared at him, signaling him to stop, but Air didn't seem to see it. Earth looked away and back at Octavinyl. "Should I bring us to Canterlot? The infection hasn't gotten past the shield, and I think we can convince the guards to let us through."

Interesting, that theory always caught my attention, Ruby thought and turned her head slightly at the new pony who apparently was the pony named Red from before. She still didn't want to trust him though, knowledge doesn't equal kindness. She was just happy that they were now getting away from the monster filled hospital, hopefully to a place more safe than Ponyville. To ease her nerves a little, she sorted around in the saddlebag she carried with her.

Not knowing what to say flame decided to fly next to the platform to give the others on board a little more room to move. Flame flew next to Octavinyl who was at the edge of the platform. Hey Octavinyl, where are we going to move to now ? he asked.

"Let's stay land there at that retail warehouse store. I've been there before and the place has tons of supplies there." Octavinyl replied as she pointed at the location, but this is the second time the group was put into grave danger. Octavinyl started to lose hope of staying as a leader and just resigning instead.

"Hey, Octavinyl, not to overturn your plans, but I think we should stockpile on some weapons first. The base is full of them. How about we go to the base, get some weapons, then head over to the warehouse? There are bound to be infected at the warehouse and we need a way to protect ourselves."

"You're right Vinyl Blade, change course to the military base Vinyl Blade mentioned." Octavinyl replied to Earth Opal and Vinyl Blade as she looked down at the place she once called home. The whole place was messed with dead bodies and monsters roaming the streets.

Earth Opal turned back to Vinyl Blade and Octavinyl. "Alright, which one should I go to first. Also, Vinyl Blade, if we go to the base, then you'll have to guide me there. I've never been there, and I don't have a clue where it is." He looked back down, where the warehouse was, but it didn't look very safe to him. He heard Octavinyl say they should head to the base first. "Vinyl Blade, where should I go?"
