Neither have I, but there is next to no information about it in most books throughout TES franchise.

I know! I tend to read all the books too, but it's very mysterious. All I know is that it had something to do with the Underking

I'm pretty sure it got its name because they threw a dagger off somewhere to mark the borders, or so the legends say.

It has the oldest building in all provinces, I know that much. A very famous tower that I forget it's name.

Well, I guess Skyrim has high mountains.

In a sense you can gather that the mountains form a 'rim' and you can see the Sky? I have no idea.

 

Not sure. Most of the Bretons seem cultured. Though we don't hear from many of them about their homeland. I always thought they lived in High Rock..
