I try to think of the mods like this as extremely non cannon to the source material. The creator didn't do his homework. There  was way to many unicorn bats and non mutant alicorns. for example Piper is based on alicorn version of Twilight Sparkle.You can replace the dog with Vinona and Sanctuary with Poniville, even if it doesnt really make any sense
