Need help finding recording software

So here is my problem, I'm trying to find a FREE recording software that is able to record sound from a RP155 modeling guitar processor. I need to record some guitar for a possible brony music rock piece.

 

So any suggestions?

Audacity should do that, shouldn't it? I don't really see why not. I mean it does have a thing to choose what you want to record from...

Yeah, I will. But it wont be a song with vocals or any of that unfortunately. Just guitar I guess...

 

But I will be doing covers of regular songs aswell

well what is your OS? If you have a mac i would recommend garage band

but if you have Microsoft then i'm sure audacity, acid music or a few others will work just fine.

I do, but I ain't using my mic. That only happens once I get to know people well enough.
