Starting a college group

This semester I'm thinking of starting a group on campus for fans, since I can't seem to find one. I have a few questions, though!

 

1) Where should I advertise?

 

2) How long should it be?

 

3) What kind of things make good activities?

 

4) How do I help with potential awkwardness during the first few meetings and get everyone involved?

 

5) Anything else?
