Butajiri's Portal plan failed.

 

Wit's End is a new detective character. He helped reestablish the police force.

 

Cherry Blossom is Octy's new OC. She has an evil alter ego named Sour Blossom

 

A new demon named Rando showed up and almost killed everyone and took forever to defeat. It turns out that even though he was really powerful, he was only a lower B class. Le gasp!

 

Cherry turned into a crazy monster thing and now everyones trying to save her.

 

Jack told Nightfall that he was going to eventually turn into a demon and Nightfall would have to kill him.

 

Karasu is a new guy with seven personalities. he's going to try and kill everyone. He's very cryptic.

As for the sword: It was destroyed. But like I said before, It's just a wooden handle called The Trial sword that became the Banshee Shriek when Butajiri held it. Another trial sword has been given to Nightfall, but it became something very different.

Right now, I'm waiting on Dawnpath to answer Wits, Speedy is doing her own thing (unless someone is RPing the Mayor), and the police officers are in a firefight with Snails. So... I can't do anything.

 

It started to feel uncomfortable for her when Wits started sticking the jewel into her chest. Some blood dripped out, but the question is, how was she still alive without a fully functioning heart? "It doesn't matter anymore if I get my emotions back or not. Do what you wish."

 

((OOC: Wits coughed up a jewel which apparently is her heart, and now it's going to help pumped blood through her system?))

 

Lets try this one more time:

 

1) Magneus ripped out her heart.

2) Wits used a high-level healing spell to return her physical, organic heart, or form a new one. That is what is pumping blood through her system.

3) Wits ate the other heart in a bid to gain more power.

4) Cherry lost her emotions.

5) Wits, noticing this, removed the infection from her heart, reducing it to a jewel in the process, and is now returning it to her.

 

It is not her physical heart, it is her metaphysical heart.

Think of it more like restoring a lost limb. It took an incredibly powerful spell and drained Wits, a mast magician, of all energy, even with the use of a magic circle, but it got the job done.I don't think it was god-modding, and nobody called me on it at the time.

I also kind of wanted an excuse to make Wits less responsible than he's being. He's sort of... strayed off character. I will be careful to avoid god-modding, but I try to be regardless.

Ah, I guess I neglected to put that, because I thought it unimportant. Largely, the spell takes an imprint of what the pony is "supposed" to look like, according to a divine eye. It then uses that as a template washing clean all injuries, illnesses, and even scares and pyschological trauma.

 

Tell me honestly, guys, am I messing this up? If so, what can I do to improve?

You worry so much! XP So much of what we do is improvisation. It's practically our job to come up with new and better ways to grow our characters. It's also not something we can tell you how to do because everypony grows differently. However, when it comes to magic, I like to use the Eragon method; the more detail you can put into the spell you're doing, the less energy it takes, as long as you're not specifying something practically impossible. For instance, using the same method to lift a boulder as a rock will require different energy.

I like how I just randomly came in with the rune tar and we all accepted it as a thing. Small things make a big difference sometimes.
