If I may... I could see your righteous character type being more interesting if dragged up into one of the factions with more extremist beliefs, like Moon and Star or Earthborn, and their sense of justice perverted and twisted by the faction's beliefs.

 

Nothing is more dangerous than a fool of honest heart and noble disposition. He will believe whatever he does is right, and will not hesitate to uphold those twisted values. He will simply have been lead astray from the path of true justice, without having realized it. He will be a force to be reckoned with. Keep the justice thing, but make it a sense of justice turned to represent the House's version of justice.

If I may... I could see your righteous character type being interestingly dragged up into one of the more volatile factions, like Moon and Star or Earthborn, their sense of justice having been perverted and twisted by the faction's beliefs.

SPOILER: You spend the whole game trying to rescue this princess. But at the end you discover the kidnapper is a knight from the kingdom that she rules, and that he was rescuing her from YOU! The traps you traversed through the end game was laid out by the princess to stop YOU from kidnapping her again. That was mind blowing. SPOILER OVER.

 

I actually had an idea that had my character assist House Moon for what she believes is a chance to end the war peacefully. And it might. It depends on Twilights intensions. In fact, the possible outcome might catch the interest of the Guardians.

Hes been on daily now. He just hasn't posted much cuz he has to wait for Star.

Diplomacy does play a role in it. But it isn't the main method of the peace bringing that my character will attempt. Nothing hostile I assure you.

Also just in case, i'm not fancy being a damsel in distress or in any way kidnapped, or having Lightning being kidnapped, almost second time in 30 pages, so yeah - i can either wait until you come, or go search for you two, but i'm not going down simply without a bunch of cheap dirty tricks.

 

If no one can tell, i really hate the whole kidnapping stereitype/cliche/plot arch and i will gladly do everything not to participate on receiving end o this bad'old cliche.

Tomorrow when. Will try some fancy usage of magic, maybe. Or Spell/Lightning combos. Pegasi and Unicorn fighting together is actually an incredibly effective duo, like REALLY effective. One annoys the daylight out of you while the other takes potshots at you. Since, good luck trying to aim at a filly who flies at big speeds and throws stuff at you. You can't just automatically hit her, neither can't she. But if you will not pay her enough attention, she will in fact hit you. And if you are paying her attention, sooner or later unicorn gonna hit you and that's not good either. 

 

Basically, Unicorn-Pegasi is like Roach-Hydra. Just works and thats it.

I'd like to make the point that fifteen years' worth of violent and dirty warfare will change a person. For example, my OC Evergreen is normally a quiet, shy, generally sweet mare, but in this one she's moody, steely, somewhat inconsiderate, and ruthless. She only lasted until the Flooding of Ponyville before the War started affecting her. If your character was justified and clear-minded at the beginning of the war, that's fine, I understand that, and agree entirely if you intend to make that his regular character.

 

However, after fifteen years of bloody warfare, he will have changed. Any pony would have changed after such a war. A pony would have to be living under a rock, isolated from the war entirely if they intended to remain as (mostly) untouched, unaffiliated, and still pure of heart as the character you're describing. The war should have affected her in a more major way, I think.

 

Does that make sense? Again, I think the justified mindset would work perfectly with one of the more radical ideologies in this scenario, perhaps ones she took to out of a desperation to find meaning after her father and mentor Max disappeared.

 

How did he disappear, anyway? Assassination? Cult betrayal? If the former, by whom? Give her a reason to hate some particular group? Perhaps say she even witnessed whatever it was that happened?

I think a good middle ground is that, while she holds steady to her morals, she will kill anypony who tries to others harm without a second thought. She is ruthless and unmerciful to those who would do wrong. I could say that Max disappeared into the Everfree, so she could hold a cold grudge against that house. So far as to her actively pursuing anypony who is allied with that faction. I try to imagine it as a Lone Wanderer/Courier like character who is generally a moral pony, but will kill without hesitation. Holding bitterness towards House Everfree. I don't know if that is better than a pure heated hero.

Yeah, that. The Flutterdash is not really a heading point just in case, more a further thing adding to Rainbows breakdown and possible resolution. As for the FixitJack... Yeah, this will be fun to write about when you're gone. Effectively control of the entire house is in my hooves after you're gone.

That's the point, he's not used to affection and doesn't tend to shoiw it much either. In addition he only knows AJ from what he's seen and read and as mentioned in his bio he's not comfortable communicating with people outside his little circle of friends.
