And here we have a little artz I decided to do for my lovely fellow mawd, Klopp. He, like myself and Pearl Necklace, had a new character for Scatcoal's up and coming RP. I decided to help him out by drawing this guy out for his Character Database entry. Especially since I'm totally shipping them and they might end up togethers. PEARL HAS A BOYFRIEND Here you go:

Anyways, I like this character design! Smart, sophisticated, savvy… Bones! What can I say? I really like his mane and you did an excellent job on the cutie mark. The lines and coloring are, as always, beyond perfection. All in all, I would say that this drawing is a perfect fit for the character. I can't wait until Klopp sees this.

 

Your characters work well together. OC shipping is magic. It'll be interesting to see how things develop.

That's quite the fascinating design this pony has. I really like how they're wearing their cutie mark around their neck...it looks really cute, and at the same time, almost like a brand of ownership. I see it and I wonder if they feel like they really control their life or if they just bow to everyone around them. Maybe I'm seeing too much into the psychology of it.

 

Whatever the case, I do love the art.

This is a stupendous scheme for the pony. Let alone the cutie mark which is beyond astounding. Still can't quite make out why his cutie mark is a bone though. Great job, as always, Arylett!

 

You mentioned a RP and I might check out how it's advancing. Though I'm not going to (and neva will) join since I might not have time on my hooves. Err, hands.

You should compliment Klawpz for part of it! I just made the design manifest into a picture. But I'm glad it fits so perfectly.

I think that'd go into the latter. He has a rather awkward personality, so I think he probably feels more out of control than most ponies. Psychology is always awesome to analyze. One of my OCs actually has her own necklace as a cutie mark... (the one who I am shipping with Bones) I think she feels like she controls her own life. Interesting how that happens.

Dat necklace...

 

It's a roundish sort of bone, according to Klopp's specifications. Bones can be all sorts of shapes, not just the typical bone one. I do like how he chose to be a bit more original and make it a round bone. I think it makes his OC stand out.

 

It's fine though, you don't have to respond to every art topic I make. Just glad you responded to this one.

Thank you for your kind words! I'm quite flattered. It just took a lot of practice over the span of roughly a year and a few months, free time, insanity, extensively referencing pony pictures and vectors, and making up the rest. Also, Photoshop and a tablet helps.
