Sunny Fox 5,950 September 25, 2012 Share September 25, 2012 (edited) Do you do anything besides complain about what you don't like about this fandom? This must be the third thread I've notice you make highlighting something you dislike about bronies... Maybe your next thread can be something positive? You're free to do as you like, of course, but I really do feel the need to make some comment about it. Yes, I agree that it is bad for bronies to force ponies on people who aren't interested. I've introduced a number of my friends to ponies, and most of them aren't that into it. When that happens, I just shrug and move on, with my life and with my friendships. Although, I honestly don't make too much of it: I don't own a single FIM T-shirt or any plastic ponies. Any fandom is going to have the gung-ho members who will not rest until everyone is a brony, but by and large, they're doing as much harm as good. If someone is honestly willing to give the show a chance, and then find it's not for them, I'm content. Edited September 25, 2012 by Full Spectrum 31 Happy minion of The Fabulous One! Bendy 1,821 September 25, 2012 Share September 25, 2012 (edited) I haven't watched the video, but I assume he was annoying people about MLP FIM? Yeah, that's wrong were not Nazis, no one should be forced to watch or have it thrown down their throat down or anything and any Brony that does this should be ashamed of themselves. Most of all, forcing people to like something is militant which is bad, even if I had a vast unstoppable army of let's say the Reapers from Mass Effect under my control I still would not force Brony fandom (nor have do what the Reapers do in Mass Effect) on anyone. Let's try differ are selves from other groups in the past that committed genocide (For example religious groups people often committed genocide on another religion, just because they were a different religion.) on other groups of people just because they didn't share their point of view. Dtox 128 September 25, 2012 Share September 25, 2012 How many times has this video been tossed around already? Yes, there are some very annoying people in the fandom, this has already been established numerous times in the past. If you see fans acting hysterical/radial, then correct them, until then just enjoy yourself as a fan and stop bothering with the stupid things that people do. Because if you did, you'd drive yourself clinically insane trying to deal with every stupid/unbelievable thing that's come out of this fandom.

AegisReflector 886 September 26, 2012 Share September 26, 2012 Complaining about bronies spreading their "faith" around the world is like complaining about Jehovah's Witnesses knocking at your door every 5 minutes. Samurshy 708 September 26, 2012 Share September 26, 2012 (edited) I have to admit, when I tell people publicly that I am a brony, I would rather not have people roll there eyes and go "Oh great, here comes the loud, bad singing wierdo who parades in random restaurants". It is a fandom not a sexual preference or racial identity, we don't need to have pride parades. It's not like people who watch adventure time get the sudden urge to parade around burger king singing the house hunting song at the top of their lungs and off key. So why should bronies do it? It just puts us in a bad light I think. Edited September 26, 2012 by Bronynonymous 1 [CLICK THE SIG FOR OC] (Signature created by Azura) Shinobu is best girl. Doctor XFizzle 8,669 September 26, 2012 Share September 26, 2012 Not to bring religion/politics into this buuuuuut this super active and vocal expression of bronyness can be comparable to how people publicly display their political alignment or their religious beliefs in order to either attack or incorporate others into their circle. I say everyone mind their own business and only bring it up if organic conversation arises. You can show your bronyness in a more subdued and innactive way and people will probably be more open to you for it instead of what these guys in the video did. It is as simple as that! see... this is the problem as I see it. firstly let's compare these man-children as pushy kids? would you let a kid talk to you like that? would tolerate kids being annoying ass prats? no. you'd give them a good talking to. because if you don't tell them they're being idiotic. they won't realise. children grow to be deliquents because they bein to understand that society will let them do certain things because it's too much of a hassle to punish them. I go to london regularly and the arcades there have a community. If some dumbass kids don't follow the respectful policy we all follow. they are gonna get told off and frankly made out a fool. we all get to play our games. and twats never come back. because they know we can't be trolled or bullied. 1 On 9/21/2012 at 3:39 AM, ceresbane said: It's not a saying to go by in the first place. Somebody 570 September 26, 2012 Share September 26, 2012 *video* I seriously lost it. So sad. These socially awkward people trying to be cool is just so sad to see. And then they lick each other's butthurt. Hey, I happened to be in that situation myself when I was a teenager. I'm twenty-four now, and thankfully 99% of my social awkwardness has been cured. The only way to overcome it is with experience. That said, I'm sure these people learned their lesson. Wouldn't it be better to simply ignore this sort of thing? Having been socially inept at one point in my life, I know that it's bad enough for people to go through it. Do we really have to rub it in their faces, in addition to pointing out the negativities of our own group? Honestly, what annoys me about this fandom more than anything else is its affinity for gossipping about its own members. Seriously, can't we all just get along? -_-

If someone complains, then it be comes an issue, but otherwise they were just chinchillin. There is nothing wrong with chinchillin. I wear a Brony shirt in public. It literally says "Brony" on it. Am I too shoving my fandom down another one's throat by wearing this shirt? No. if someone approaches me and asks what my shirt means, am I shoving my fandom down that persons throat? No. Nothing wrong with what happened here. Are there annoying people in this fandom. Yes. Are there annoying people in ANY fandom. YES.
