How did you find MLP Forums?: I google searched it, because I wanted someplace on the internet I could be a brony


How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I saw pictures on tumblr and pinterest and, after having decided to watch a few episodes, I couldn't stop.

Hi! I'm 21/f/Columbus, OH (do people even do asl's anymore?). I'm a brony (obviously), a whovian, a potterhead, a ringer (lotr), and a burtonist (tim burton, that is).

 

As far as more serious info, I'm a STNA trying very hard to become a RN. I'm kind of a natural activist, jumping onto any good cause I happen to come across. I'm bisexual, and intending to marry the woman of my dreams :wub:

 

Umm...I'm not sure what else there is to say about me right off the bat. I'm sure things will come up in the future and, when prompted, I don't really hold back anything about myself. ;)

An RN :D Public services, someone to kind of relate to, kinda, maybe! Outstanding! Welcome to the forums! ^_^ We're all kind of friendly here so dont be shy. I haven't seen an ASL in a while anyways. What do you do with your spare time if you have any, balancing all the different things. Anyways, welcome to the forums once again. I've got a general information thing and a forum tour if you are interested!

 

 

If you've got any questions, feel free to ask myself or anyone else on the forums, we are all very friendly. When you want to respond to someone in a thread, make sure you quote their post, that way you can make sure they know you did respond.

A quick tour of the forums for ya, We have 5 sections. First is the MLP Forums section. Anything that has to deal with the forums directly is here. Visit Canterlot Castle every now and then for some important site updates. We also have the Extranet where you can link up with many other gamers to play Minecraft and the like. Although if I remember right they only take ya on if you have a few extra posts under your belt. Something to look forward to!

The next section is just for the show and anything Pony. Sugarcube corner will cover anything outside of the show for ya, very fun place to hang out. Plus we have the show discussion where you can discuss specific episodes.

Our third section, Octavia's Hall is purely for any kind of art, whether it be drawn, written, song or played, any and all art. You can also request a free avatar/signature from generous artists here. Just browse through to find some one offering that.

We also have Roleplay World, a section purely dedicated to roleplaying and RP stories.

Finally we have Beyond Equestria, which consists of the Everfree Forest, a place for any kind of serious discussion or just anything not pony related. And finally the Cloudsdale Colosseum, which is purely for fun and games.

Fluttershy isn't too high in my list, I am sorry to say, but that's no reason for me to not welcome you warmly!~

Also, a quick question, since you're a colleged aged student in Columbus, do you go to Ohio State?

I'm working on enrolling there for the spring semester

I hope you can get in. I hear it's a good college, but my opinion is a bit skewed of that, mainly just because I prefer the "color" maize.

Allow me to personally apologize to you on behalf of all the crazy OSU fans. Not all fans, just the ones that are nuts enough to commit violent acts on Wolverines...I personally don't give two shakes about football, but this rivalry has been shoved down my throat by my extended family since I was born lol.

And I'll apologize for the crazy Michigan fans. I think just about every fanbase in the world has their own crazies, and they overshadow the reasonable fans. Still, I haven't heard of any violent acts commited to opposing fans in college atmospheres, professional sports are a different story. I've always loved U-M (mainly parent influence) and sports, even though I was born in a suburb of Columbus. Though I can't imagine punching people over a sports rivalry.

I guess, I know East Lansing is infamous for couch burnings and such. But OSU seems somewhat civil, from what I've seen. But fans rushing the fields is common in big wins, you see it in upsets or rivalry games mostly. The worst part is when the field goal posts smash down.

Idk if you follow hockey at all, but this past season (I think) in the NHL, when Vancouver lost the cup, there was a city-wide riot. I remember I thought it was nuts, but my girlfriend said that Vancouver apparently does that every once in a while when something happens to really piss them off lol.

Those were bad riots, but those happen in Canada a lot I think. There's been a few hockey riots in Montreal's history at least. There were some great pictures and gifs that came from that. But I can understand how sports do cause that reaction in some people, unfortunately. :(
