Alright, I've fixed my last post so the next stop is Manehatten. Again, the logic had made sense to me, but it's not worth going with....

I think I got a good Idea, but I'll run it by you guys first  so there will hopefully  be no mix-up (i'm sure there will be one anyway <..<)

 

so in order to get back to the train to Appaloosa, I suggest they Hobo it. What I mean is that if they stop at Manehatten, instead of taking a passenger train back to Canterlot, Rook'll do some thinking and come to the conclusion that the train that goes to Appaloosa will stop at <Insert town here>. Well, just by luck, there's a freight train heading there directly from Manehatten! They can sneak on the train and ride it to said town.

 

Of course, this would be in coordination with the other guy's getting to that town also, after the whole "crazy salesmare" thing is sorted out

 

Oh, and Rook's initial reason for helping them? I got two Idea's

1. He heard about the necklace and think's it a clue to something

2. He has a slight crush on Amber

well about the salesmare, if you did read my latest post, she got caught by the pegasus guard. So she's gonna end up in prison, however I'm not gonna argue if you guys want to see her as one of the main antagonists, I can come up with something to make her escape the jail.

'Tis funny, I was actually shipping Amber with Ganaram, myself.

 

As for the idea, I think Anoni mentioned somewhere else (don't remember where) that Rook was a treasure hunter. Perhaps Ganaram mentions something about Miramare or somewhere in that area that captures Rook's interest.

 

Also, inb4 Amber ends up crushing on Jade for added hilarity.

One thing noticed from observation: Star Weaver / Twinkleshine is never here on the weekends. If you expect a response out of him, you'll either need to wait until late Sunday or early Monday.

 

Also, I can't proceed all that much until me, DS, and @AnonyPoni sort things out. (Either that, or I blatantly disregard the discrepancies in his post and continue with my plan.)

One train goes to Manehattan, and other to Appaloosa. Can we alter the route a bit so the train from Manehattan can catch up with the original train without going through Canterlot? Like a triangle.

 

If Ganaram's group have to go traced their trail through Canterlot, good chance they won't be able to catch up with the other train.

In fact, NOTE: you don't need to edit your post, but him mentioning appalooza seemed forced to me, because no one was talking about the direction of the train, and he randomly bringed the subject up. He asked the location of Appalooza like he didn't know, but even if he didn't know he started to freak out for no reason.

 

Read Amber's posts, she seemed more natural when she started to react when she found out that she was heading to Manehattan.
