Draco can fight but he prefers not to fight. But he only has 2 zebra friends who are alchemists. He' also strong enough to knock out a tooth when he's angered.

how would you describe Draco's fighting style, would he use his wings to fight?

 

 

 

I had originally intended the RP to be more slice of life, but then it's evolved to be a combination of that and adventure, which I find to be okay with me.

 

And Ganaram would typically avoid fights, unless he's emotionally riled up. I still wouldn't count on him coming out victorious or feeling good about the fight. Gem, however, can readily defend herself if needed, but she's more defensive. (And even if she wanted to fight, her horn's busted. Poor girl...)

well, I am not the only that is introducing adventurous moments with key-history storylines. I would like to know what others think about this. What I know is that this RP is nothing like a slice of life.

 

OK, Ganaram is useless during fight (lol), but he could play the "bait" to fool opponents, I don't understand what are Gem's capabilities. Would you like to explain better?

 

I want to know your other opinions guys.

Well, I believe Amber can be quite a fighter because of the fact that she was a troublemaker back in Manehatten: she used to go out in the streets at night, kicking trash cans, yelling, running from the cops, things like that. Though nowadays (RP time) she isn't nearly as aggressive as she used to be, she can still have some breakdowns every now and then - due to her mood instability - and end up punching somepony out of rage. She may use her magic too, but that may have way more serious consequences if she's raging.

By the way, sorry for taking so long to make a post. I finally did yesterday though~ Now, explaining some stuff that happened with the Manehatten half (correct me if I'm wrong):

 

The goon that stole Rook's journal teleported - along with the item - to an unknown location after being chased down by Rook and Ganaram to the engine room. Meanwhile, Electrobolt and Amber went after the saddlebag thief, which also ran towards the engine room, making the four ponies regroup.

 

Electrobolt grabbed a rope and began moving back a few train cars, towards the first goon that was knocked down by Ganaram's Chair Strike, in order to get some info about the other goon's whereabouts, and Amber is irritating the saddlebag thief, who just surrendered due to the outnumber.

He uses weapons like pool cues or bottles to fight. He also had mild training in kendo but he only uses kendo to keep in shape. I guess you can say he's a street fighter.

I just want to ask what's the official genre of this RP is? and it's true intentions. I ask because, we are adding pieces of story that in the end, will interconect each other into a permanent plotline. Is this was intended to be a normal trip and each one of our ponies having different adventures on each location? or a persistent storyline, that follows all of our characters into everywhere they go, and also bringing them together in the long run?

 

Also, I don't know how much you guys expect fighting, but that's definitelly something I would like to see XD ...how do you feel about that idea? Also can your ponies hold a fight?

I saw it as slice-of-life / adventure / let's see what happens. I'm fine with anything, as long as it doesn't turn into straight-grimdark or straight-romance (though I am fine with either if they don't become the premise of the rp)

 

As for Jade's abilities: he's never been trained to fight, but his special talent is in exotic and foreign magic (with his primary discipline being dragon fire (which is, like, totally better than regular fire, doodz)), as well as a strong knowledge of regular boring Unicorn magic. So, basically, he's not a fighting pony, but is certainly capable of defending himself. I'd say he's probably the strongest offensively, as you said.

Nope I was going to have Draco go to the resturant car in a nice suit. Think Frank Sinatra's suit . He wears well I'll try to describe it in my post.

I think I'm just gonna repeal the two-post rule from being an actual rule; It worked best when there was high amounts of activity, but now I'm just gonna demote to an act of courtesy that can be ignored when there simply is not enough activity.

but the lack of activity is comming from you as well, you do post but not a lot. But if you think that taking out that rule would help, then fine.

I've stated several times before that the two-post rule can be ignored if there's not enough activity. And I apologise in advance for any activity that I'm not making on my part; I've legitimately been busy with things on other forum sites, but the stuff I deal with is, one, private, and two, will be published this March.

 

My upcoming post: Gem will get with an argument with her co-worker. Ganaram will follow with the interrogation scene that I've been waiting for.

Alright, my work-in-progress post will be cut off by the time I post it (in other words, it'll be a two-parter), because I don't know what the goon should say, and if I can control him, what should I have him say?

I always seem to work straight through the night and sleep away lunchtime... Ah well; I've planned Gem to go down like this: She quits her job, and reluctantly seeks some comfort. And by reluctant, I mean that she's typically so full of herself, she never shows any sign of weakness and it would eat away at her if she did. She wouldn't wanna have a new job right away, though.

Hm... Hang on, just lemme get some things straight regarding the Manehatten train real quick.

 

The group is now leaving the engine room and heading towards the knocked-down thug #1 to interrogate him and know more about thug #2 that managed to steal Rook's journal by teleporting away. Electrobolt is carrying a rope to tie him up while Amber and Ganaram are still playing with the saddlebag thief.

 

Perhaps it looks something like this?

 

 

I believe switching Electrobolt and the bag thief's places would be ideal, but I think that's basically how it looks like at the moment.

 

That said, Gannie... What exactly does the thief have to 'confess'? Just that he stole Amber's saddlebag? :s

Except that north should be pointing up, not down.

 

As with Ganaram interrogating the "wrong" thug, the wrong thug can confess something off-topic and trivial, making Ganaram realise that he had nothing to do with the "conspiracy".

Bolty's off to tie the other thug, Amber "gave" an "incorrect" vibe to Ganaram, who thought that the bag thief was part of the greater conspiracy. Upon realising that, Ganaram will be all like:

 

"Uhh, what...?"

 

And proceed with the proper interrogation. After which will mark the end of the train scene, with the sound of the train's brakes being applied and the train slowing down.

Edit: I know Bolty has already explained it to them, but this is obviously the wrong guy (to rook). Rook wants the big goon.

 

Course, I'm under the assumption that this ISN'T the big, scary Earth Pony that stole Rook's Journal, but the measly guy who stole the bag from amber

I reviewed recent events to post my plot summary earlier, so I believe you are correct. There was a thugpony who stole the journal before getting knocked out, then there was a second thugpony who stole the journal and got away. And you are interviewing the purse-snatchingpony who happened to steal from Amber.

 

So yeah, your assumption is right. Next course of action would be to 'interview' Thugpony #1 in regards to where Thugpony #2 took the journal.
