real_equestrian 30 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 ANYTHING PETA says should not be taken seriously. BTW has anyone watched Penn and Teller's Bullshit PETA episode? You can find it on youtube, for those interested in knowing more about PETA, and how much of a fraud they are.
SongBrony 419 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 PETA is just a troll company. Nintendo is a great company. PETA...shit company. Nintendo has done more for animals than PETA. Sad right? PETA needs to be sued, and taken down. Kudos to the man in the video.
000 206 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 :|...Guess wat? Pokemon is my childhood...I love it...First Fandom I went into...Played It all the time...And also, I love animals...Soooo PETA,... YOUR F-CKING DEAD TO ME! FIRST MARIO THEN THIS S--T! GO EAT YOUR F-CKING SLAVED ANIMALS THAT YOU KEPT IN YOUR CAGES THAT YOU WERE TRYING TO "SAVE". INSTEAD OF TRYING TO SAVE ANIMALS, YOU WASTE ALL YOUR TIME AND EFFORT TO F-CKING RUIN MY CHILDHOOD!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
moneyshredderofdeath 414 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 PETA has always been impossible to take seriously. I won't even say that this further cements it because their Pokemon game isn't any more ridiculous than say, their several-years-old Mario game that had chicks in lieu of Mario and Luigi who had to rescue Pamela Anderson from Colonel Sanders while Mario himself is portrayed as a hopeless bum who gets ditched by Yoshi and the like for PETA. The only thing I find angering at all about PETA is that there are probably people who think that supporters of animal rights (which is a decent cause when done rationally) are all fanatic extremists thanks to PETA being the most noticeable face. Spring Storm 276 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 I'm a vegetarian, and I have hated PETA's guts for years. The funny thing is, Nintendo ALREADY addressed this issue in Pokemon Black and White (I haven't played Black and White 2 yet, though). They said that the Pokemon themselves like battling and traveling around with trainers, and that there is no need to try and stop the special bonds Pokemon and trainers share with each other. But, OF COURSE, (and please excuse my language here) PETA decides to bitch about Pokemon, while horrible things continue to happen to real animals, and PETA doesn't give a buck about it. GAHHH PETA makes me mad >:| 1 Together since October 19th, 2011

Yuna Crescent 142 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 *sighs* really PETA? you did this? are you trying to destroy some childhood memories? and it is true that there were some characters in it that weren't kind to pokemon but pretty much all of the others were http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png i tried and beat that flash game and only one thing came to my mind; PETA are hypocrites. Kapi 215 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 (edited) I never liked PETA, and I'm sure the people they're trying to represent don't like 'em much either. I played through this. I didn't know if I was supposed to feel sorry for the poor, poor Pokemon we humans hunted and killed for food, or laugh at the Farfetch'd attempt they made to make us stay away from them. Yes guys, we all eat Pokemon. Each and everyone of us has abused Pokemon by skinning them, frying them, cooking them, and battling them. With your help, we all can help Team Plasma, an affiliate of PETA, liberate the Pokemon and restore peace and harmony to the world. All they want are all Pokemon to be released (Using the brutal enslavement of the PC Storage System, of course) and the surrendering of any unused balls in your BAG. And money, they need that too. All this nonsense because of a game with fictional characters. Way to go PETA, you kept me from turning my beloved Tepig into bacon. Instead, I will find a Sunflora and make a wonderful salad with it. EDIT: Edited October 10, 2012 by Kapi "No, I am not going to run, I am not going to hide, I am going to take a stand and fight!" FLARE 952 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Nintendo's copyright policy states that none of their material or content may be used in connection with any other web site, in any publications, in public performances, in connection with any product or service that is not Nintendo's, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, in any manner that disparages or discredits Nintendo, or in any manner that is otherwise exploitative for any commercial purpose or that otherwise infringes Nintendo's intellectual property rights. I hope PETA get sued somehow.

Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Pokemon meant a lot to me and it still does today. This is not animal cruelty and some pokemon are not considered animals. It is all fictional. PETA has come up with a defenseless argument that will crumble easily...very easily. 1 Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeWg-TtBRMfqketa1ELyKGg Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/menelik-david-kenneth-cannady 2nd SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/thunder-dash-alternative/tracks Pony.fm: https://pony.fm/thunder-dash

Despair 114 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Well shit. Pokemon if a fucking cartoon show/game. It's not real! Why do they have to do stupid shit like this? If they are going to bitch about cartoon-animal violence, why not complain about Happy Tree Friends instead? 1 Just another background cat. Move along. PoisonClaw 8,164 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 (edited) Hmmm....Bender, you thoughts on this? http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=FopyRHHlt3M Well said. I'm really starting to think that PETA just has something against Nintendo and games in general. Screw any potential fictional abuse against fictional beings bullshit, Nintendo is a spawn of the anti-Christ to them apparently! Probably in league with that nut-job who claimed Pokemon was secretly a gate to the world of satanism through some insane stretch of logic that would make the Cheshire Cat go "You're crazy man!" and...I'm going off topic here. On that note, has PETA even done anything that wasn't blatantly trolling somebody? There was the already mentioned Mario "parody", that porn site meant to show the evils of furs about a year ago, and now this "Black and Blue". Mushy Giant Friend 206 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 My face when PETA, yet again, attacks another game that I love. Honestly, PETA is absolutely ridiculous. Riclo 160 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 *Reads topic title* aha....hahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHHAAHA. ...Anyway, PETA needs to stop being a useless troll. Do something that will actually change things. Example: Create more animal shelters, save more animals from shelters, not being..."This" Random statements:"Sir, we're surrounded.""Excellent, we can shoot in any direction.""Ah, the internet, where everyone worse than you is a noob and everyone better than you has no life.""you're all stupid noobs, noobing around and dying like noobs!" - Angry kid."I'll knock your teeth so far down your throat, you'll have to stick a toothbrush up your ass to brush them." - Derek from MLP FF SR"Sometimes one has to bend the rules to find the truth." - Riclo. None42069 520 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 What turns me off from this game is the sign Pikachu holds that reads "I support team Plasma". Yes. Team Plasma. The same team that beat a Munna for dream mists, stole Pokemon from their trainers to use them in battle and for the spoilers: Forced them to build a castle that rises from the ground and forcefully merged two Pokemon together (I didn't get there yet so I can't confirm if it was painful.) PETA should play the games and pay attention to the story.
Celtore 2,770 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 (edited) How the hay can ANYPONY take PETA seriously anymore!? Seriously, does making these obscene childhood-destroying flash games actually help their credibility? I wouldn't trust these guys with the beaver off a nickel let alone a living creature! Also, am I the only one here who remembers Pokemon the First Movie where the moral was that "fighting is bad"? OkBuddy 586 October 10, 2012 Share October 10, 2012 Wow, PETA was once a helpful organization. Now, they're so useless that they attack video games. Who's leading them now, Jack Thomson? I'm a Y2K Survivor™
Le Kvlt Dawn 2,364 October 11, 2012 Share October 11, 2012 I've been playing Pokemon since I was in third grade. I don't play it as much anymore but, my point is Pokemon aren't real. They're fake and I wonder what Fluttershy thinks.
None42069 520 October 11, 2012 Share October 11, 2012 So I just fought this Plasma grunt who stole a Trubbish, bullied it for 2 years as training and lost in 1 minute. To reiterate, Team Plasma, who stands for Pokemon LIBERATION, STOLE a Pokemon, BULLIED IT for TWO YEARS to level 27 and sent it against a GROUND TYPE. It's WEAKNESS! And PETA SUPPORTS them for their cause! PETA, PLAY THE FING GAME!
Cherry Blossom 864 October 11, 2012 Share October 11, 2012 (edited) I think they are just trying to shape it with their own hooves since Pokemon is about battling animals, with animals. There' a spin-off game called Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. You play as the Pokemon themselves and humans are barely even referenced. Though if it's still not your thing, it doesn't matter.
