"My name is Blue Shine." she came up as ordered and saluted Commander Greylight Hurricane.

 

Cherry Blossom quickly flew towards the Congressional hall after her mailmare shift was over. She dashed off in the fasted speed her wings could carry her; it was the speed of a turtle trying to ride a skateboard. "Oh I hope I'm not too late! I have to recieve that assignment that they mentioned to me!" she thought as she doubled her efforts into getting to the meeting, but Cherry Blossom accidentally crashed into a cloud that was apparently floating by. "Ow..." she said to nopony aside from herself.

Alli made it to the hall and saw ponies were still entering. Huh, I must of been smart this time and put an early time down on purpose. Thank Syline, I thought I was going to be late! She straightened her tiara and her ribbon, relaxing and gaining some poise, then went to enter.

Greylight looked a bit weirdly at her drawing, taking the pencil out of her mouth.

"Blue Shine... All right, then..."

She noted that on the paper.

"You're idea wasn't exactly too brilliant, but I must say, it inspired me in a different way. I must consult with my advisers before I release it to the public, but I congratulate you."

Greylight never once looked up from her paper.

"Thank you ma'am." she saluted and just went back to sit down.

 

Cherry Blossom got back up and gently flew into the building. She just kept her head down and looked for the pony she was supposed to meet up with. A stallion waved to her and so she followed to him with a relieved look on her face. As soon as she sat next to him, she asked, "So why do you need me for an assignment again?" "Well we actually need you to do some reconnaissance on the Earth ponies, but maybe the Unicorns as well. We don't want them to be doing any fishy business." he answered as he looked back at Commander Hurricane.

''She has an assignment? How come I don't get one? I think I could perform a song or something else. And she's a mail mare? I think she deserves a better job. Uh oh.. I think I have a feeling coming on!'' Splinter said to himself while squeezing himself into the congressional hall.

"Thank you ma'am." she saluted and just went back to sit down.

 

Commander Hurricane sat for a moment, then looked up.

"All right. I'd like all of my advisers and anyone here that was called for a mission to please stand up and follow me. Everypony else... You might as well leave. This next stage will take some time. This meeting is adjourned!"

She stood up and flew through one of the doors behind her. It sounded like a riot could start soon.

(OOC: I suddenly feel like I may have quoted the wrong person in the OOC thread, so Snowy Fields is in it. Don't worry, I understand I'm pretty tired too.)

 

While Snowy Fields was walking towards he watched the unicorns walking in to the building. Among the crowd a young mare with a dark purple coat and black mane stood out among the other lighter colored unicorns. He watched as she walked towards the entrance. "It looks like Allie is wearing the ribbon, tonight must be a full moon...Now do we have time to talk or should I wait until later?" Snowy Fields walked inside the building.

Cherry Blossom stood up and followed behind Greylight while the other stallion just left the building. Some other ponies left as well, but some of the high ranking officials followed Greylight as well. "E-Excuse me Commander Hurricane, but I heard I was being called for a reonassiance mission. I would like to know what is happening, that is if you don't mind..." she blew hair out of her face and just looked around.

Flame, who was slowly making his way to the meeting hall, passed buy several disgruntaled looking ponies who were making their way out of the Meeting. Thats not a good sign. He thought, walking threw the doors to the meeting hall.

Once he was inside he looked around the room for Commander Hurricane, He caught a quick glimps of her flying into a small room in the back of the building and followed.

Once he was inside the room he walked next to the Commander and waited for a pony with bright pink mane to finish what she was saying before he spoke.

Aelicine looked around for somepony she recognized, and saw Snowy. She walked up to him, sensing he may wish to speak with her. Either way, she wouldn't be alone. "Syline be with you, Snowy Feilds. Do you wish to speak with me? Perhaps something the moon can do for you?"

 

(If you don't have what you wish for, now is the time. )

''I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING!'' Splinter yelled in the crowds. He noticed Cherry Blossom and stared at her for a second. He then began jumping up and down rapidly. ''HEY! HEY! I'M OVER HERE!'' Splinter screamed while jumping and smiling. After getting tired out, he decided to give up. ''LOUD NOISES!'' Splinter yelled while regaining his yelling energy.

Cherry Blossom's ears perked up to the sound of a stallion causing a commotion. She turned to him and realized that he was the same pegasus that she saw before. Though she was very confused as to why he was behaving this way, especially in the presence of Commander Hurricane, but freedom of speech was allowed here in Pegalopolis... Just not for Unicorns and Earth Ponies that is.

 

"Umm... H-Hello again?..." Cherry Blossom sheepishly smiled at Splinter.

Cumulus considered pretending that he hadn't beenntoldmto come and walking out. But decided against it. He would be bored either way. He stood up and followed Greylight as he was instructed. Luckily he was not told to move with any zeal, something he lacked the motivation to do.

Snowy Fields gave a slight bow to Aelicine. "Thank you. And may She watch you, Allie. There actually is something I would want, but I don't this is exactly the time or place to talk about it. If we could talk about later tonight, that would be nice. I assume you were called to the meeting too?"

She nodded,"Yes, although I am not sure why. The government has never really been interested in me or my religion before. The teachings of the moon are not meant for everypony, because you have to learn to except her into your heart. It saddens me that so many cannot... Very well, we shall listen to your request later, for now we have a meeting." She walked inside, expecting him to follow.

Captain Trench had his full armor on, despite the fact that he was off duty, and had been for the entire day. He sat next to the entrance of the Library that Credo was going to and rested his head against the wall. Looking at the sun, he determined that it was still morning, or at least, very early in the day.

When Commander Hurricane adjourned the meeting Krystal resentfully got up and walked out. She was hoping for something more exciting to happen like that one time when that foolish Pegasus took off his horseshoe and threw it at Commander Hurricane. "Oh well" she thought "Time to go back to what I was doing before, which was... uh... nothing..." Krystal was unemployed. Not because she was untalented, quite the contrary, but she had no life goals. No idea what to do with herself.

 

Now outside the Congressional hall, Krystal saw a recruitment booth for the Pegasi Coalition Front. "What the hay. Maybe it'll be my calling" she trotted up and signed their form. The colt at the recruitment desk pointed his hoof back inside the Congressional Hall "Go in there" he said "They've go a meeting going on and they want all new recruits to be in attendance."

 

With that, Krystal turned around and went back inside. She quietly followed a blue Pegasus with a fiery orange and yellow mane and slipped inside without being noticed when he did. Like before, Krystal just sat quietly in the back at listened to what was happening.

Snowy followed after Aelicine. "Oh no, that's not the reason at all. I want to possibly ask for a trade with Syline. I'm not exactly sure about it myself so I'd also like for your opinion on the matter, But that can wait. How are you doing? I haven't seen much of you this week."

''Hello! What are you doing?'' Splinter mouthed out while noticing Cherry Blossom saying hello to him. I'm not saying it. I'm not saying it.. Then again maybe I SHOULD say it. Or maybe I can think it. Yeah. I can think what I think about her! But I don't even know her name yet. And I'm not even in the friends zone yet!

She raised an eyebrow, smiling, "Snowy, I thought you knew; normally I would be asleep right now. But yes, lately I have been in seclusion; I must save my strength for the Blood Letting Ritual tonight. It is necessary to renew my Lunar Contract." She said it in a normal tone.

"Oh I was just following Commander Hurricane as I was told to. I-I haven't gotten your name, but my n-name is Cherry Blossom," she said shyly as she looked around the room to avoid any eye contact. Cherry Blossom wasn't really confident in meeting new ponies and she was a very shy pony. Nonetheless, she loved to make new friends anyway.

Snowy Fields opened his but couldn't think of anything to say, he stared for a brief moment and then looked away. Ugh, how could I have forgotten...I've known her for years. "You're right. I do know that. I guess I...I guess I forgot..." Hoping to change the subject he quickly asked, "Any idea what this is about?"

After all of the unicorns had filed in and taken their places, Vinyl Blade called the meeting to order. Before starting, she cleared her throat and tapped on the microphone. "As most of you already know, this meeting has been called to order to discuss the problems of food and land shortage. Those filthy earth ponies have been hoarding all of their food. I say we deprive them of the essential sleep until they give us our portion of the food supplies. As for the land shortage, we are going to have to start extending our borders. Does anypony have anything they would like to add? Any suggestions? Questions?"

Snowy Fields thought for several moments before he stood up and said "I don't think we should ignore the Pegasi, if we engage in a war with the Earth ponies they will take advantage of our state and attack. I think we need to make sure that the Pegasi and Earth ponies fight with each other. We may be stronger than the either of them by themselves but against both of their full forces I don't think we would win."
