Star Rain couldn't help but look back. At first she didn't notice anything but then she heard Sapphire. Star Rain crept up and saw her getting hoofcuffed. With widen eyes and a dropped mouth, she almost decided to charge in. No. I'm inexperienced at this. I have tell everypony! And where they're hoarding all the food! She took off running again and didn't dare look back. Unknown to Star Rain though, her horn was glowing a much brighter cyan than normal.

Fire Blade grabbed his sword and jumped into the pack. He needed to get Sapphire out, as his animal-like instincts had kicked in.

Velnir rolled over his head onto his haunches and backed away slowly. Glaring at his opponent he made sure he was hidden from sight and waited, gently picking some poison ivy that the Unicorn hadn't discovered in the bush with a gloved hand. He waited for the opportune moment to strike his tormentor.

Fatigue walked over slowly to Velinr. Look at you. Hiding and running from a fight just like always. Your pathetic. Where is your pride of being strong like the earth? Where is your heart harder than stone? Probably somewhere in your burned down house. Fatigue that enough! This is not the way to act in a new land. Your making us look like animals. I AM AN ANIMAL SURGE!! Charging at Velinr for the kill.

Star Rain was halfway to the border now. She was very exhausted to the point that she started to stagger. She has never really been the athletic type. Star Rain used her rocks as distractions,a trail marker so that she could tell if she's going in a circle,and to let any exiting Unicorns know that she had been there. Star Rain then lost attention of where she was going and when she was about 4 meters away from the border, she tripped. When she tried to get up, she banged her head on a low branch and was knocked out. The last thing she remembered was a very bright cyan glow.

Velnir came up with the poison ivy and rubbed it in his face, bringing his second hoof up and punching him in the chest. "You want to know where my pride is?" he whispers, "My pride is trapped in a dark room with nothing but a few spare words and a knife. My pride died with the ponies we tortured. My pride died when you tortured me."

You might have to deal with it for a few weeks. I don't think you can afford my cure. Also, try not to itch; it spreads easily for the first couple of hours."

"Absolutely. If we win this war, you can expect a long term alliance between our nations. As for the magic, yes, we will keep them in check. Again, when will you be deploying? I can have my military ready to ship out by tomorrow morning." Vinyl thought about that letter she sent to Cherry and was wondering if she got it.

War?... Cherry Blossom thought. She stood up and flew out the door with her eyes widened. A small tear dripped from her eye as she started to fly away from the room, but very casually to avoid attention A memory flash backed while being at the holding cell and it gave her a bit of the headache.

Lyth concentrated on Cherry Blossom, having gotten a signal from Syline to send it now. She took in every remember detail of her she could. Her eyes glowing as she accessed her contract with the goddess, she concentrated on teleporting the letter to her. The letter disappeared and floated in front of Cherry Blossom. It had her name on it.

[Cherry Blossom 864]

Cherry Blossom continued flying slowly out of the Congressional hall until something unusual happened. A letter sudden appeared right in front of her face and it caused her to fall backwards and shriek a little. She got back up and picked up the letter, thinking, Where did this come from?

She flipped it over and her name was written on it. Huh? she gulped and was about to open it, but she decided to just open it at her home.

"We may be deploying in a few days. We need to double check our... devices and make sure we really do have the resources for the invasion. Our food supplies may have diminished a bit too quickly during this past week, and we need everypony to stand guard while the official, including myself, check to make sure this plan can be pulled off. You are welcome to stay in the ambassador's quarters in one of the two mountains while we check... or, you may want to go back and prepare..."

She was getting nervous. If Vinyl found out it was really Martin, leader of the Earth Ponies...

"I can stay here. I'll just send a note to the other officials in the unicorn kingdom telling them that I'll be gone for a while and to start preparing the troops for war with the earth pony kingdom. So where are the ambassador's quarters?" Vinyl noticed that the commander was getting a bit nervous. "Is there something you're not telling me?"

Greylight looked back at Vinyl and smiled, although if one knew her a bit, they could tell it was fake.

"I'll have a guard escort you. I would have sent Cherry, but of course she left. Tell the guard right outside the door to take you to Ambassador's Quarters B. I'll need to finish Cherry's notes."

She picked up the clipboard.

Cherry Blossom went inside of her medium sized cloud home and just washed up after she set the letter on a desk. She put on a towel and some sleeping robes and sat on a chair in front of the desk.

Her hooves were shaking and the flame of the small lamp was moving around furiously. Carefully, she opened the envelope and pulled out the letter and focused her eyes on the paper.

Every letter, word, and sentence of the love letter made her face flush red. She put her hooves to her cheek and thought Oh my...

Vinyl eyed Commander Hurricane curiously for a moment. "Alright then." She turned around and walked out the door. "You there, take me to Ambassador's Quarters B."

"Yes, ma'am."

The guard did as ordered and brought her to her quarters. The guard left and Vinyl took a look around her room. "These living arrangements seem a bit... Spartan. Lets spruce the place up a bit."

The 15+ ponies he jumped into swarmed him, surrounding him with their knives and pitchforks. "This one's agressive! Do you think he killed those guards?" "Easily," one of the ponies said. The crowd surged in on him, not caring if they killed or captured. The old pony sat next to Sapphire and sighed, "In my day, there was honor, order, not this mindless chaos. Oh, and don't try any magical funny business. Unicorns in the past have said it's extremely painful, and the 'cuffs are crude. You might accidently hurt any talents you might have, which could spark war, and get me killed. I'm an old pony, I don't need this excitement," he grumbled.

"Fire, what are you doing! Run! Get out of here!" Sapphire shouted as she tackled a guard next to her. She tried her magic but it wouldn't work. 'Oh what the hey!' She thought as she flipped the weapon of the farmer millitia in her two cuffed hooves and used the shaft of her rake to try to sweep several ponies to make them fall.

 

Several unicorn guards saw the fight. "Stop it!" One of them yelled. "I knew letting these barbarians here was an idiotic idea." Another guard remarked.

How dare you. Gets off of Fatigue. You insult the leaders of another nation. I would take your tongue out of disrespect, but that is not what im here for. Starts to calm down. Now if you do not mind, can you find your leader so we may work something out. Tigue looks over at Velinr. This is your fault.

Velnir raises an eyebrow, reaching into the bush menacingly, "I'm sure we can come to an agreement Fatigue. You leave me, my things, my friends, and my family alone, and I may actually cure you. You don't, well, there are more poisons in Equestria the poison ivy. Maybe I'll rub wartweed on your face, and add a little bit of, well, let's just say it'd be painful. And if you really want it to make your face less itchy, you will stop scratching it." He smiled slightly smugly at his revenge.

 

The guards around Sapphire picked her up and took her to town hall, locking her in a cage after disabling the stolen weapon.

He was soon completely out-numbered, though, and on his back. He tried getting back up.

 

Greylight looked around, then made a motion to Martin.

"Hey... Vinyl's gone. Presumably, you heard it all. And I have a really bad feeling about this..."

He walked back to the plush chair in the corner and tiredly plopped himself into it "Hey, we haven't really discussed my sleeping arrangements yet, and I don't think I've had a rest since I got here..."

"I'm sorry, I needed to do that as one of the first things... I'll let you sleep in my quarters... I can have a guard roll in a bed... Or... There is a queen sized bed in there..."

She was really red now. She knew everypony was out of ear shot, but she still blushed hard.
