music Is this classic music?

Hello everypony,

I know that the kind of music I make is kinda unusual in our time, but I also know that there are persons in this world that also like this "classic" music. If you are one of them, I think you're right here.

Because I'm bad at introductions, I'll just start explaining my music piece by piece. The scores for all the pieces are available as PDF, just contact me.

Part 1: Fugues for Piano solo

1: Fugue in B minor

SoundCloud link

The fugue in B minor was one of the first more complicating fugues I composed. By the same time it's the only fugue I composed that I can actually play.

2: Fugue in E flat major

SoundCloud link

The second fugue I composed. The first part was written more than three years ago, and one year ago I found the manuscript in a folder of mine. I decided to finish the fugue after a few little changes, and... Well, here you go.

3: Fugue in G flat major

SoundCloud link

Number three, only three months in age. I composed it around the same time as the fugue in E minor (see below).

4: Fugue in E minor

SoundCloud link

The fugues in G flat major and E minor both were kind of experimental. They were composed during last year's summer vacation.

Part 2: Pieces for groups of instruments

As those mostly are MLP related, I opened an own topic for them in the Fan music section. You can find it here.

nice counterpoint there.

unusual or not, counterpoint is a valuable framework for any style of music.

i'd be interested in checking out your score for the E-minor fugue.
