ooc Sonic the Hedgehog: Friendship is Way Past Cool 2

It was a beautiful day on Mobius as Sonic the Hedgehog was racing through a familiar place in his past which was known as Green Hill. It was in this zone where he first met the Freedom Fighters led by Princess Sally Acorn whose base was in Knothole Village. It also became where he had his first battle with the maniacal Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, formerly an advisor to the king. This would be a first of many battles with Robotnik, including Sonic's battle with Eggman in the magical land of Equestria. Sonic's visit wasn't a very welcome one where he was at first treated as a criminal thanks to Robotnik's scheming. It was in this world that Robotnik had hoped to gain the power of Discord to defeat Sonic once and for all. Behind the scenes, Metal Sonic was working against the doctor to take control of his own destiny, which was to finally be released from the doctor's shadow, eliminate Sonic once and for all, and to destroy and subjegate everything in it's path.

However, thanks to the efforts of Sonic and Co along with the Mane 6, they ultimately defeated Metal Overlord, but not before Discord was released by absorbing the power of the Chaos Emeralds. All seemed lost until the Mane 6 used the power of the Elements along with the wishes from everypony in Equestria to charge up the positive energy of the Chaos Emeralds to turn Sonic into his Super form. Discord tried to use his powers of Chaos to de-materialize Sonic out of existence, but failed to realize one fatal mistake. Discord represented the negative side of Chaos, but Sonic represented the positive side of Chaos, thus Discord cannot directly affect Sonic with any reality-altering abilities. After a fierce battle in a chaotic thunderstorm, the Mane 6 got together to form a Spectral ring in front of Sonic and Super Sonic gained immense speed from the ring towards Perfect Discord. The attack sent Discord back into his statue state and saved Equestria. After saying their goodbyes to their new pony friends, Super Sonic used Chaos Control to send himself, his friends, Dr. Robotnik, the remains of Metal Sonic, and the Chaos Emeralds back to Mobius.

It was only a year since that fateful visit to Equestria and Sonic began to wonder how Rainbow Dash was doing. After all, he never did get a chance to race her to see who truly was "The Fastest Thing Alive".

Hello, fellow roleplayers. Welcome to the OOC thread for the MLP Crossover featuring the cast of the Sonic the Hedgehog universe and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. In this story, Sonic and Co. take another trip to Equestria to stop Robotnik's latest scheme with the help of the Mane 6 and their friends. However, Eggman won't be the only threat for the Sonic Heroes and the Mane 6 as Queen Chrysalis now also takes an interest in the Sonic Heroes and their Chaos Emeralds.

For the setting, Sonic and the Freedom Fighters have been living in New Mobotropolis thanks to the efforts of Nicole, a computer A.I. who is well trusted in the Freedom Fighters. Eggman had tried to permanently destroy their home, the old Mobotropolis and destroy Sonic's spirit, but Sonic and Co. didn't give up. Thus, they have defeated Eggman once again. Sonic and Princess Sally Acorn have reached to a disagreement and it has struck a major blow to their affection for one another.

This adventure will take them to various places in Equestria, including but not limited to Ponyville, Canterlot, Manehatten, Appleloosa, Las Pegasus, possibly the Frozen North, and more. It will feature quite an interesting cast of characters, each different from each other, but nonetheless very interesting. Before you all start signing up out of excitement, let me state the rules for you real quick.

The Golden Rules of Roleplaying

No godmodding, Mary-Sues, etc. See The General Guide to Roleplaying for the big no-nos in more detail.

• Proper spelling and grammar is expected at all times. I will not chew you out for minor typos, but if it is consistent, I will have to put my foot down.
• Posts must be at the minimum two sentences. It is highly encouraged though that you write detailed and quality posts, and make them as long as you wish.
• This RP is expected to go at a slower pace than most. So no repetitive quick posting. In fact, to enforce this, you must wait until at least two people post before you before you post again.
• If, however, it has been at least one day and only one person has posted after yours, you may post again.
• Note that the above is experimental, and may be changed depending on how well it works.
• To keep activity up, there will be an activity check every two weeks. If you have not posted in two weeks, you WILL be ejected from the RP and your spot will be re-opened for new roleplayers to join. However, I know that there will be times where our IRL responsibilities will call us away from RPing. In which case, send a PM beforehand explaining your situation and I promise that I will do everything I can to work with you and keep you in this RP.
• You may have the ability to RP as three characters if you wish, however I do not recommend it. Once you claim responsibility for those characters, BE SURE TO NOT FORGET ABOUT THEM! A reason why I also do not recommend taking control of multiple characters is so others can get a chance to join in the RP as their favorite characters.
• One more thing, KEEP ALL OUT OF CHARACTER CONTENT HERE IN THE OOC THREAD! I made an OOC thread for a reason, so use it. I will put my foot down as well on any OOC content that appears in any post on the RP thread.

For more detail on what an acceptable post in the RP would be like, I'll give you an example from Cranium Tyranus, who Role-played as Dr. Robotnik in the first title.

"You've done well Metal." Eggman began. "Now... Take this." Eggman says as he reaches for the Chaos Emerald near Discord. "it's now useless. It's been stripped of it's power by Discord here." he says while tapping on the Discord statue. "But I don't want any of the ... Ponies... Seeing it here, it would raise too much suspicion. Now go, and hide. Sonic has made it here by now, everything should be falling into place..." Eggman said with a smirk.

"You should be able to hear me now... Discord." Eggman began talking to the encased Discord. "I know here your the biggest threat in all of YOUR known world, but to me your just a contingency plan." Eggman gave the statue a confident smirk. "I know you must be fuming under there, but just wait, soon you'll have ME to thank for your new-found freedom. All I'll need you to do, should my plan not go so perfectly, is to restrain one, little Hedgehog. Do you think you can do that? *Eggman taps the cheek of the statue* embodiment of Chaos* Eggman began giggling venomously to himself as he strolled down the hallway, back to his loft to receive the news that the 'Evil tyrant king Sonic' had arrived.

Now, you don't have to make it as full-blown as this, but I would like to see well-thought out posts when they come up. When I read his posts in the last Sonic RP, I could actually visualize Eggman doing these actions and he nailed his character right on the head. This isn't going to be an advanced RP, but that doesn't mean you should be lazy with your posts. 200 characters is not that hard to bypass if you just take the time to write out your character's perspective of things. Also, be sure to follow this thread and the RP thread so you can be updated on any new posts. Anyways, that's enough of me rambling. If you want more details or have any questions, be sure to state them here in the OOC thread.

@, No, Villain. I can't just start the RP in the middle of sign-ups. The whole point of this RP is to have the Sonic Heroes work together with the Mane 6 to stop Eggman and Chrysalis. The RP would just feel incomplete without the people that we need and leave it disorganized.

As of now, Alpha Protocol is in effect, meaning everyone here can be a 3rd character to RP as, should you wish to do so. Personally, I don't recommend it, but frankly, we don't have many fans of Sonic RPs. So, I suppose I shall take up the mantle of Rainbow Dash again UNTIL someone wants to RP as her... Also, Chaotic Harmony, I am sorry that I didn't add you on the list. I thought I did, and now I will fix that immediately.
