Ubersaw is an excuse to be a battle medic. Stab people and get your uber charge. Also, I don't understand why people who have medics die from anything besides Sniper head, crockets, or tons of stickies. Or they eat sentry fire. Seriously how do you die with a medic healing you?

idk, I survived THE LEAST when playing as a Pyro, but survived (and even got more Achievements) when I play as the Medic, mainly what I did was just healing my comrades and sometimes when I happen to accidentally got left behind, I happen to kill disguised Spies because whenever I am not healing other players (mainly because I got left behind), I thrust forward with my weapon.

 

But yes, this is also usually the time I get killed by a Sniper. lol!

That's..not impossible.

Undeniably it's hard to kill somepony being healed by a medic, but you can still die from a source that isn't insta-death such as a backstab or headshot. It's really just simply put as anyone who can aim well and outdamage the healing fast enough.

 

Easier said than done because the medic accompanied combatant will last longer.

Seriously, I complain all the time when I'm Medic, and the Soldier/Heavy/Pyro I'm healing literally kills no one and gets himself killed really quickly. It happens in Dustbowl all the time, where I'll heal a Heavy and uber him out of the gate just for him to kill no one, and once the uber wears off he gets inexplicably killed. On the other hand, it always seems like I run into Medic/Heavy teams that last forever.

 

I need to get a strange Jarate, so I can name it "Liquid Pride" as well. So far, the only strange weapons I have that I actually get regular kills with are my sniper rifle and rocket launcher. My rocket launcher is named "Old Knocker" but I'm not sure about what to name the sniper rifle.

I can't say I have many brony friends on Steam.  There are a few, but I've never really played on any brony servers.

 

Anywho - I've been looking for some good Spy frag videos.  Anyone know of anyone who makes some good Spy vids?  I really wanna pick up the class, but I'm not too good at it.

Here's a good one. Quite likely one of the best spies there is. He also explains everything he does on the videos so that should help too.

 

 

He's not that active uploader though but he does livestream a lot and he posts announcements on his steam group every time he is livestreaming.

Because the medic is a class much like the scout - they both have to dodge a lot. But the medic doesn't dodge...he simply dances to stay out of harms way.

Then you can use the shotgun or reserve shooter, I like them better than the flare gun, just because of the 6 shots you have, makes it easier when more enmies are around.

Of course, the flare gun does critical damage on burning players, but shotguns aren´t too bad either...

and I normally went with the homewrecker... just more team-orientated.

It gets so confusing having to shoot with my secondary slot, go to primary, and then go to melee. I get too tense during battle, and I forget what to do which usually leaves me trying to attack people with my Axetinguisher who aren't on fire, shoot people at close range with my Flare Gun, or M1+W with my Flamethrower. Basically, I look like an unskilled hack. It doesn't feel like practice could do me any sort of good - how can anyone possibly line up shots from across the map with a Flare Gun, mentally calculating shot fall along with projectile speed and movement speed of the target?

I've tried using the Reserve Shooter before, but I keep messing up the timing or just plain forgetting that I have it in my loadout. I don't think I've ever successfully minicritted anyone in the air with the thing.

I lock up and forget what to do so much of the time. It's one reason that I can only play well with classes like Soldier and Engineer that require only doing one thing at a time. I even play Soldier with Gunboats, so I only have one weapon. I do use Q to switch weapons, but 3 is too many, and like I said, I've never successfully set someone on fire, airblasted, switched to secondary and made a successful shot. I get too nervous. I don't know if I can ever get over it; I feel like such a miserable failure.

I've some difficulty even aiming at opponent's feet, let alone shoot them in the air. I've already trained with various maps, including rocketjumping and airshooting ones, but still.

@@Dave (RayFriedh), my problem with Soldier is that I can't rocket jump for the life of me. I've watched other people, but they act so fast, I can't tell what exactly they're doing or when they're doing it. I know it's all about aiming and timing, but both are mysteries to me. I practice at the beginnings of matches, but I can't seem to control it, and I'm not good with fast, precise motions in video games anyway. I feel like giving up at it.

I don't know if this has been discussed here already, but does anyone know or want to hazard a guess as to what is inside the new Robocrates? I'm thinking maybe a robot themed weapon (I doubt it'd be a hat unless the keys were quite expensive). I suspect it's definable something to do with Mann vs Machine.

 

Goddamit Valve, just release the Robocrate keys! The suspense is killing me! It may turn out I never open mine but I at least want to know what might be in it! Gaahhh!

I haven't gotten a robocrate yet. I've gotten two #56's and a few items including two miscellaneous items but no robocrates. You think they're MvM related?

They look almost exactly like the tank from MvM, except slightly more cube-ish. Most speculations involve: cosmetic items related to robots, such as a misc. that turns the player model into a robot; botkillers of some sort, most likely unique new ones since the current ones are pretty cheap by now; or something more like a regular crate, but the keys to open them come from MvM.

I've barely bothered with MvM. It reminds me so much of Left 4 Dead, in that if you don't have a good team, you don't have a chance at beating the map. This is worsened by the difficulty in finding a good server and my low skill level making it unwise for me to enter advanced maps.
