Another update. Dunno what they added, but my guess is more descriptions for those things to unveil with that Sherlock Holmes medic set.

 

I'm just waiting for it to be a massive letdown, what with all this buildup. :P

 

Edit: Wait guys, I figured it out.

 

In S1E24, Owl's Well That Ends Well, Spike packs a picnic that contains bananas.

 

In S2E3, Lesson Zero, Rainbow Dash is demolishing an old barn at Sweet Apple Acres. The barn door plank.

 

In S1E22, A Bird in the Hoof, a sandwich is seen on a table that has cheese. The cheese wheel.

 

In S1E25, Party of One, deranged Pinkie Pie holds a party with "Sir Lints-a-lot". The pocket lint.

 

In S2E23, Ponyville Confidential, the school paper features the headline "The Drama Queen Diaries". The secret diary.

 

In S2E7, May the Best Pet Win!, Rainbow Dash is trying to find a pet.Explains the Goldfish.

 

The Sherlock Holmes set reveals additional info on the items. Pinkie Pie dresses like Sherlock Holmes in S2E24, MMMystery on the Friendship Express.

 

Pony update confirmed. lol jk

seriously, best tip would be to try each class for a few minutes to get a feel for what you like best :)

That's some pretty legit advice to give :P Hmmm... It seems the pryo is my favorite so far...

Hmmm... I just started playing TF2.. Any tips?

 

First suggestion would be to look around the official Wiki, and bookmark it. You can find a lot of good info regarding the game there. Then, well, it's a matter of playing until you get good. ;)

 

Right off the bat, I'll say to try to stick with the "vanilla" weapon loadouts for a while. Which means no unlock/drop weapons, just the default. Get the hang of how the default equips function before playing with the other weapons.

 

Also, avoid trading until you know the value of stuff, in the off chance you get hold of a superultramegaextremelyrare item, so somebody doesn't convince you to trade it for something worthless.

 

@Jozzeh: Story behind that: I was looking at the lint, when I was reminded of Party of One, and decided to see if I could tie all the items to ponies somehow.

Hmmm... I just started playing TF2.. Any tips?

 

Turn on the hitsounds and "show damage done as text over the target" or something like that in the options menu. It really helps to know when you're actually hitting the target, and how much damage you've done, so you know when they are weak.

If you're playing as a pyro, don't forget that you have an airblast. It's really helpful to you and your team to blast those projectiles and ubered heavies away.

Guess what, get all the "mysterious" items, then equip the eliminating the impossible set for Medic. Try to sort the new item descriptions together. It will come out like this when all of them are combined: Think of the deeds of hellish cruelty, the hidden wickedness which may go on, year in, year out, in such places, and none the wiser.

First day of the "Pyromania update", and of course, I'm not home, so I have to play on my crappy laptop with terrible internet connection. 200 ping + 15 fps = fun times

 

Wait.. Have they even released the update yet?? Doesn't seem so..

I think they haven't released the update yet, afaik. But this talk of a new game mode intrigues me.

 

I'm hoping to see a lot more content than just that map added, though.
