Finesthour 7,287 January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 Put their hair in warm water, and brush them out. And then look up a guide on youtube (There are many) and cut their hair. Be careful though.
Champion RD92 8,658 January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 Yeah, I have the same problem. I got a Rainbow Dash and it doesn't have bangs, so I don't know how to style the hair so that it looks right :/
Sheogorath 1,155 January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 Modifying pony figurines is it's very own subsection of art, and there are a lot of deviant art tutorials. Best way to add more hair to them is to buy a second pony, hot glue gun, dremel tool and a drill. Then extract hair from pony 1, drill a little hole into pony 1, add in hair from pony 2 and hot glue it in. Then style as necessary, if the thing fails, extract added hair and add a new bunch
cuteycindyhoney 13,306 January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 I'm thinking about getting a couple pony figures and seeing if my sister-in-law will help me make totally new hair for them. She's really into all kinds of crafting. I bet if I show her pictures of what they should look like, she can help me make plastic hair that can be painted the right colors. Thank you Sparklefan1234!!!

AJ was easier I made fake bangs and they look pretty good but dashie is another story -_-
Lady Rarity Pony 4,892 January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 I have no idea, I still haven't unboxed my brushables LRP's opinions are subject to change without notice. Fees and penalties still apply.
StarGazer 129 January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 Idk how but I agree with the warm water. You can probably find some help on G1 collector's forums like My Little Pony Arena. A lot of people there do customs and I know they do hair restoration for G1s that have been loved too much.
Breeface621 1 January 16, 2012 Author Share January 16, 2012 It's not really a problem of straightening or anything I got all the other ponies to have perfect hair it's just that both have hair in two straight rows there are no shorter haired plugs like how twilights hair is : /. AJ's hair is easier to create a fake bang but dash is giving me problems because the wings are getting In the way I got them both straight with the boiling water -_- I'm taking a trip to target now to see if I can find ones with bangs or buy more to create bangs. Sorry for lack of punctuation in that Paragraph.

Lady Rarity Pony 4,892 January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 I haven't modified the hair of my brushables. One because they are still boxed, and two because I fear that I may mess them up. Do what Pencils says, find some tutorials LRP's opinions are subject to change without notice. Fees and penalties still apply.

RockinRarity 1,605 January 17, 2012 Share January 17, 2012 Tutorials are amazing. There are lots on deviantArt and YouTube. A few quick searches through both sites will be your best bet. If you want to buy separate hair plugs, dollyhair.com has its own MLP section and while it doesn't say which G4 ponies match with the hair plugs, there are people on deviantArt and other such places who give suggestions for which hair would go best for certain ponies. Breeface621 1 January 17, 2012 Author Share January 17, 2012 I'd love to do new plugs but my supply budget wouldent allow it and that seems to be the subject of a bulk of the tutorials
