planning A portal from their world to ours. Good Idea?

This is an Idea for now. If I do this, then it will be a story of a group of ponies who enter our world, are transformed into humans, and left to survive. I have a story plannes and it would be a sandbox rp. But I would like to ask, Is this a good idea> based on the way our world works, THis may not be a great idea on a larger scale.

I actually got the idea of an rp im in, called the fountain. where a group of humans find this fountain believed to give them a new start at life. this new start however is ponyville, and so they must adapt to bieng ponies and live there.

I have an entire story that would be put to shame. and ill give you the basics.

 

so its the year 1050, bc, about 2'000 years before celestia. The god have came to a conclusion that the world is not evolving fast enough, and so create a doorway to the nearest world, earth, at the sacrifice of an alicorns soul. Their current ruler, altryx, was a master lockpicker, and decided for the sake ok new equestria, that he would attempt to open the doors. The gods became mad, and so take his soul and turn it into two keys, the skelenton key and the soul key (cwutididthar?) It is only when the sould key is found, that the door will open. and those who go through will never come back.

Hm... Well that sounds like a good plot, just the names need to be re-written and the time periods as well, but other than that we have a beginning! And maybe not skeleton keys, but whatever his cutie mark was.... Something other than skeleton keys. It's the door to Equestria for God's sake!

That sounds really good. I don't know about Ponies becoming into human though, most of the people like MLP because of the characters personality and picture, but when you think them as a human, it really changes them all.

I like the idea of the Rp. But heres something to boggle your brain. According to the multiverse theory Most likely a world exists somewhere in a far off universe that is exactly like Equestria, with Derpy Rainbow, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and the rest of the gang. There's also one where Humans have a portal to/from Equestria. Because, according to the multiverse theory, anything is possible anywhere at anytime. Say you decide you want to go back in time and screw with people from the 1800's with your ipad? That Isn't currently possible in our world. But it is in some other universe somewhere. Or say you want to superpowers? a universe with that exists as well.

So whenever you get really wishing that Equestria did exist. Remember that in some alternate dimension..It does.

Not sure yet but i'll think of something for it. I'll design a character and put it up once im finished.
