So, I'm assuming you want to play as the Master? Because I was hoping to start small with the Doctor, with him meeting a companion or something and then start building up to some kind of adventure (that's how I usually play as him)

 Hah, well I'm actually already accepted, but not as the Master. Nothing a simple regeneration never solved. Just do what you want and I'll interfere.

Where is your character right now? What're they doing? The way I normally introduce the Doctor is by having him appear in the TARDIS near the character I'll be with right after he regenerates as a pony, and then have him discover it as he's introducing himself to the pony

A time travel based adventure? Well, this is a "slice-of-life" roleplay and not an adventure rp. Even if you start a time travel adventure, be sure that my character is not involved because i want to play forward and not to write the same things again just because you hop back in time.

Don't worry, that's not how I play anyway. I try not to get people involved who don't want to be involved. My stories with the Doctor are usually pretty self contained

I dunno. It might be better to have a couple of assistants for the doc. Also, since this is a slice of life rp, it would probably be better if the doctor hangs around ponyville for a few days. Hell, if theres an adventure, you could even create a seperate RP with just the doctor and his companions, then return to this one every so often. It's your call.

The Doctor does actually sometimes have more than one companion , though there still usually tends to be a "mane" companion, one that joins first and is more focused on than the others. For example, the Doctor met a girl named Rose in the first season and then she became his companion. Then a few episodes later, Rose's boyfriend Mickey started to become more and more relevant to the story until he started tagging along as well and became a secondary companion

 

In other words, I like the idea of having more than one companion, but I'd rather that happen later on

 I don't even know what I was doing, my character got drowned in a sea of posts from two individuals. You don't have to wait for me, I'll fit myself in when its needed. Just start interacting.
