You know everybody keeps saying that Rarity is Jewish and I feel like it actually has nothing to do with the Jewish faith and more to do with the Jewish race. Everyone is all "Rarity like money and stuff so she must be a Jew!" Yet AJ's part in the Gala song is literally about money and nothing else. Everyone also seems to be saying that AJ is Christian just because she is a southerner and they are stereotypically nut job Christians. The other general consensus is that Twilight is atheist just because she like science. I'm Christian and I love science heck there are a lot of things that I believe that most Christians would call me brainwashed over, i.e. life on other planets, basic evolution with in a species, etc. Coming back to Rarity, I feel like she could easily be Christian or atheist. I feel like how she acts does not match with the Jewish faith.

Applejack might be a Christian, since she's the "Southern farm girl."

I really don't care what people think about religions, but if we were to start this off, there's bound to be a debate on what's real and what's not. I myself am a Roman Catholic, I was raised this way, I believe these kind of teachings make sense, and I think I'm living a good life because I know those teachings. I may be bias, but I really don't care.

In reality, Equestria certainly has no religion (maybe some cult will come into being in a future episode), but if they had religions, this is what they'd be.

• Fluttershy: Buddhism, Taoism, Shintoism, Jainism, or some other nature-focused religion/philosophy

Well, here's what I think

 

Twilight - Agnostic Scientist

Applejack - Agnostic (or possibly Atheist, then again, I think she believes in the afterlife)

Rainbow Dash - The Wonderbolts are enough god figures for her

Fluttershy - Animist, or Buddhist

Rarity - Humanist (or in this case, Ponyist)

Pinkie Pie - Doesn't believe in any dieties, although I think those voices in her head are sentient. Possibly tulpae?

I'm a Christian but I am not Catholic. (If someone is Catholic they are Christian)
