Parents in The Apple family?

 Ok, so I watched One Bad Apple yesterday on youtube and then...Babs said she's going to tell her BIG SISTer about the bullying.

 Big Sister.

 Not mother, who will generally know more. Big sister.

 Is the Apple Family and extended Family due to be orphans forever? We are all pretty sure that AJ's parents are dead, but they didn't wnat to mention it in the show. Maybe Granny SAmith was a lucky case?

Babs probably wanted to tell her big sister, because we saw in the Cutie Mark Chronicles how uptight the city ponies are.  Her parents probably wouldn't take it seriously.

As said above. Plus, her sister would be more of her age, and could probably do something more of use for her. Her parents might just do nothing.

She may have just liked the relationship between the girls and AppleJack and want something similar. Plus what those above ^^ said.

Her parents were killed in a tragic cider press accident.

Applebloom may seem happy, but it took years of bitter tears, counciling and medication to help her repress those memories.

There's a reason Applejack don't mention Ma and Pa Apple. It's a trigger and they don't want poor Applebloom to relapse. They can't risk it. She still has a childhood to live.

Just an unlikely theory, but Applejack does have an aunt and uncle who live in Manehattan - they could be Babs' parents.

 

 

But we'll probably find out a lot more about the Apple Family in the upcoming episode, "Apple Family Reunion".
