Rose still has no idea what she's doing, though. She might need a little bit of a nudge to go either way at this point. Heck, the only reason she didn't restrain Stacy too (Stacy did attack Spark, after all) was because she had promised she wouldn't. 

 

It might be not the optimal time for it, but I need to get going to my little brother's band concert. I think I have time to squeeze in one more post, however.

For those of you who are all TL;DR, Rose was lost in thought, weighing her options for Special Somepony, and decided she just wasn't ready to choose. She couldn't choose. But she knows that she has the ability to make one pony's life infinitely better and ruin that of another, and she hates it.
