Diamond lip quivered and she wiped a couple tears from her eyes, Then she leaned over and hugged Somber. "Somber...If it wasn't for you, I don't think Star Song would be ok. You saved her so many times and I will never be able to thank you enough." She let go and smiled. "Welcome to the family Roomy." 

 

Just then, Star trotted out from the bathroom, Drying herself off with a towel. "Hey Somber, If you want to take a shower you can, I'm all done." She smiled and sat down at the table next to Diamond.

 

Diamond hugged Star tightly and said. "I am so happy you are ok Starry...You and Somber."

 

Somber felt like he was strangled by Diamond's hug. Once Star had gotten out of the bathroom, he entered, amazed by everything that was inside. It was so... clean. The warehouse never had a shower room... He had to depend on a gardening hose. He stepped inside the shower, confused by the knobs. He turned the left one all the way, oblivious to what was about to happen.

After a while they arrived back at home and settled in nicely. A week later, Moonbeam planned for a small celebration with all her friends from the trip. Of course, the other friends (such as Diamond) were also allowed to go if they wanted.

 

(OOC: Let's all try to wrap things up and get to the epilogue party/date thing asap. We need to finish this RP to get to the threequel)

Star was about to speak when she heard a small squeak from the bathroom. "Uh oh...I will be right back Diamond." Star ran over into the bathroom to see hot hot water pouring out of the shower head. "Oops, I probably should have told you about that." She turned off the water and turned to Somber.

Firecracker had finally relaxed after he got home after a couple of days , unintentionally. Both him and Moonbeam both parted their ways after the train stopped at Ponyville  "Wait, the door went my journey started was unlocked, I hoped nobody robbed the place..." he opened the door to his place and he saw everything where it was, untouched. "Well, Staletate and Tailgate much have been nice enough to leave all of my stuff here..." he said.​ Suddenly, he was hungry so he went down to the restaurant for some lunch.

All that you could hear from the bathroom was one word....

 

"HOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOT!!!!!!!!!"

 

Once the water settled down, Somber stood there, steam from the water coming from his body. Thankfully, Star shut it off for him before he burned himself. 

"Thanks... I guess I need to learn how to live in a house...", he said, scratching his neck and chuckling. This was going to be pretty hectic...

"You'll get used to it." She smiled and looked into his eyes. Then, She Kissed him passionately.

 

Diamond was walking by the bathroom door when she saw the two standing next to the shower. She smiled and trotted up stairs to let Star and Somber have some time alone.

 

(OOC: Unless you want something to happen. Lets just skip to a few weeks later so we can begin the end so we can start the beginning of the Circus.)

A few weeks had passed since Somber had moved in with Star. She seemed to be really happy with the decision. The same went with Diamond. She seemed to like having Somber around. Somber even liked being in this house. In the backyard, (If you don't mind me using this for a bit) he had been practicing his flying and maneuvering techniques with the trees. It was good rehab for the pain from the island incident. 

 

Today, once again, he was flying outside, skimming through the trees.

Star was in her room putting on her dress for the dinner with everypony from the ship. "Diamond, Are you sure you dont want to come ?" She asked, Trotting into Diamonds room. 

"Its really ok Star, You go have fun with your friends." Diamond smiled. "You look gorgeous." 

Star blushed. "Ok then, I will catch you later. I just need to find Somber, We're going to be late." She said, flying down the stairs and landing in the kitchen.

Scamps put on a nice winter dress and poked into Airy's room. "You getting ready for the dinner?" She asked. It had been a few weeks since they had gotten back. The wedding was set for next year, and planning had already begun. Scamps had been searchi g for a doctor who could fulfill Greenleaf's promises of help Airy fly again.

 

But now, she was just ready to tell all her friends the news of their wedding. Actually, just seeing them would be fine by her.

Rose smiled up at him. He was so reassuring... She hoped Stacy wasn't feeling too bad, though. She wondered if she'd ever see her again. She'd have to stop by Little Hop's sometime to talk...

 

"Spark... Would you like to stay with me tonight? My house isn't big, but... "

 

She didn't want to be alone. Not anymore.

Bright Spark almost choked on his words when he got the invitation, Hr had his own home right over in canterlot. He regained the ability to talk, and smiled. "I would love to." He said simply, before one more kiss. Yhings seemed to be brightning up for them, and pretty much, for everypony aswell.

Rose smiled, and kissed him passionately. It was a bit of a journey back to her little home, in the middle of that vast garden. But she was happy to be so close... So... Close... 

 

Maybe she'd pop in on Descant when they got back... He'd be delighted to see she was back. But... He had supported Stacy in that dream... She vaguely remembered something of those sorts... Would he be mad at her?

 

 

 

She and Spark were walking happily down the dirt road out of Ponyville, leading towards the Everfree Forest. SHe could see the high hedge walls that bounded her garden, and just before that, half a house. She blinked. The back of the house looked like it had been blown away... Which it probably had. Two grey earth ponies with startlingly red hair were inspecting it, and trying to prevent the rest of the house falling over. She laughed, and from behind the house came a familiar voice. "Rose? Is that you? Is that really you?" Out from behind the wreckage of the house came galloping a lavender unicorn with an untidy maroon mane, tinged with purple. He was covered in black dust. He skidded to a halt in front of her, and hugged her. "Hop contacted me, said your ship had wrecked. I was so worried! Why didn't you tell me?" He looked suddenly stern, but the look faded away as he saw her ragged appearance. 

 

When he noticed her friend, he simply looked at him bemusedly, having expected somepony else. "I think somepony left you some mail..." Descant said, shooing Rose away. He looked Bright Spark up and down, then stared at him, square in the eye, as if waiting for him to speak first.

 

 

 

 

 

Rose went on, and stopped at the little mailbox, far enough down the hedge to be out of earshot of the other two. She opened the box, and saw an ocarina placed within it. She recognised that ocarina.... She took it gingerly out of the box, and cradled it to her chest, as if she had never held anything more precious in her life. She started to cry silently....

Although his flying was improving, he felt as though he had forgotten something... Something with Star....

 

"OH CRAP, THE DINNER!", Somber cried out, as he zipped through a few more trees and onto a balcony that was connected to his bedroom. He ran inside trying to find his outfit for the dinner.

 

About a few minutes later, he came out of his room in a tuxedo, bowtie the slightest bit crooked, and went down to the kitchen to find Star.

He didnt know why but it seemed as if this pony expected another pony in his place "were you expecting a certain mare by any chance?"

Descant's ears perked. "How'd you guess?" The tension broke; Descant smiled and extended a hoof. "My name's Descant. It's nice to meet you, but... You should probably go to her right now. I don't think she liked what she found in the mail." He inclined his head down the road, to where Rose was visibly crying over the ocarina, and looked at Spark with some mixture of respect and expectation.

Bright spark looked back to see rose crying. Something he hadnt noticed. He shook descants hoof, before going over to see the issue. "whats wrong?" he asked inter-twining his tail. He then noticed the ocarina she was holding onto. A tear fell down his own cheek.

Stacy was preparing for the dinner. She hadnt gotten to see Rose since she rushed off the ship, and she didnt know how Rose reacted to finding her ocarina. But Stacy wanted to correct things tonight. She still felt like she should have been chosen over Spark but she couldnt argue with rose, atleast not without having her hate her afterwards. Stacy placed the rose she had taken behind her ear, as she was devoted to Rose, but not the way Yavolin was. She shivered at the thought of him. Stacy would still date other ponies and she thought about visiting Rose and Spark atleast once a week. *Well, i guess i better head out so im not late.* stacy headed down the stairs into the living room where she found hop sipping some tea. Little hop looked in her direction surpirsed to see the rose in her ear.

"Youre still obsesing over her?" She asked a little annoyed.

Stacy only smiled, "When you find someone you love as much as i lover her, you'll understand." With that she went out the door.

Rose allowed Spark to twine tails with her; heard his little gasp. But this sorrow was one for her alone. She frowned... then smiled faintly at Spark, and led him into her garden. She took a deep breath... Hoped that Spark would like it...

 

It had been nearly a week. She hadn't seen Stacy in nearly a week. And Spark was coming over for dinner again. She was fixing up a little dish she had learned when she visited Vanhoover last year... She pulled out the ocarina, and looked at it sadly. She blew in it... It barely made a noise. She didn't know how to play it. Tucking it back in her satchel, she set the table, and waited for company to arrive...

 

((OOC: We're going hikng today. So I'll be gone for most of the day. I might be able to post on my phone on the way there and back.))

Bright Spark was preparing for, yet again, another dinner. This time however he was NOT going to miss it, like last time...

He looked at himself in the mirror, and smiled. He was in his home in canterlot, which now had a garden. He went outside, but thought that a train would be a little to long of a trip. Instead, he used a teleportations spell, one he had learned just this august, to take himself to the train station at ponyville. His brain felt like mush, but he shook it off. He went over to roses house. After about 30 minutes he arrived, and knocked on the door.

Star smiled when Somber trotted down the stairs. "You look, Wonderful." She giggled and trotted over to fix his bowtie. "Now, We gotta get going or we'll be late." She kissed him on the cheek, and took him by the hoof. "We'll see you later, Ok Diamond ?" She called up the stairs.

"Ok. You Two Have A Wonderful Time." Diamond called back.

Star smiled and led Somber outside. "I cant wait to see everypony." She said, Jumping into the air and waiting for Somber to follow.

Bright Spark lifted his fedora. It appeared that he was nervous, and how could you blame him? It wasnt the dinner, nor the food she had planned. But it was instead what he was planning. It felt a little rushed, even to him, yet he felt like he had given it enough time. He was going to ask of something, that WOULD change his life.

"Yeah, it's certainly going to be a blast.", Somber said with a smile. He jumped into the air with Star, then started to fly off in the direction the dinner was held at.

 

He looked below him, seeing little pegasi learning how to fly... It made him shed a tear of joy...

Star smiled and flew next to Somber, Then she kissed him on the cheek. "You're so sweet." She then flew upside down and dived towards the ground. *This probably isn't the best thing to be doing in a dress...But its fun.* She laughed out loud and pulled up just before she hit the ground.

Airy closed the buttons at his jacket, pulled his bow tie into a tidy position and brushed his hair a last time. "I'll be with you in a few moments, Scamps!"

He looked into the mirror. He never had had such thoughts before, but now he looked really good. But when he left his room again, he saw that he wasn't the best-looking pony around.

That title belonged to Scamps.

"You look wonderful, honey", he whispered smilingly while surging into his boots. "I'd be ready to go now, are you?"

"Yeah. I can't wait to see everyponu when we're not struggling to stay alive or worried about a murderer." She said, recalling the cruise and the camping trip.

 

She walked outside of their house, holding Airy's hoof, and began to walk towards Rose's house, where the dinner was being held. Scamps was full of excitement to find out what everypony else had been doing in the past few weeks.
