Morning star smiled. "Rose sometimes i just wish wasn't prince of equestria , mostly i just want to this right here create wonderful works of art". Morning star meant what he said. He hated being treated like royalty around other ponies and mostly Celestia just sends him back to suntower.

"No, its fine, i understand your curiosity. Its just i got it in a way i kind of wish i hadnt. Id almost prefer to still be a blank flank for some reason."

After arriving home from the trip, the next day Stacy went to little hops house to get a few things off her chest.

 

Stacy reached the door and knocked. After a second the door opened. "Stacy! Youre not supposed to be here until tomorrow." Little hop said confused. She then looked stacy over. "Why dont you come in?" Stacy walked in without a word and hop found it a little strange. *Shes usualy talkative. Something must be up.* hop thought to herself. Stacy had sat in her spot and Hop sat across from her. Hop spoke up. "You want to tell me whats wrong?" She said. Stacy stood up and showed her, her flank. Little hop smiled. "You got your cutie mark! You should be happy."

Stacy sighed, "I know i should be..but im not." She paused to think. "I feel like i dont deserve it or need it. Its like it dosnt belong there, like i was supposed to be blank for life! I wouldnt have minded be blank for life."

Little hop considered what she was saying. "Well, are you not happy with your talent or is it something else?"

Stacy looked at hop with sorrow. "Im happy with my talent, its just i feel like i dont deserve it or need it..or something like that. I almost wish i was still blank."

Little hop wrote down what stacy was saying to consult with one of her friends in canterlot. *this is wierd. Ive never seen her or anypony like this before, wishing they were a blank flank.* hop put down her note pad and pencil. "Alright, ill talk this over with my friend in canterlot. Just try and lighten up, ok?"

Stacy nodded her head in agreement.

(Present day)

Stacy hadnt realized she was staring off into space and quickly came back to reality. "Im sorry i dosed off."

Rose gazed at the unwilling Prince sadly. "I don't think it would be hard to imagine why," she said. "Personally, I don't think I could stand all of the attention. I'm having a hard enough time putting up with doting from two ponies, let alone an entire nation. You must have incredible patience and strength just to stay sane." She looked at the Star Rose he had crafted. "It really is a shame you can't just dedicate yourself to your talent like the rest of us. Your art... It's just incredible."

Morning star smiles."yea, sapphire thought so to funny we were all settled to get married into the circle of magi , she loved my art and we always stayed up talking about how our lives would be with each other".  Morning star blinked back a few tears but he still kept a smiling face.

Marisa nodded in an understanding way and looked at the time, "Oh my, its pretty late, we should get to bed" she said and started to walk towards her room, "Yeah... I guess we have to sleep together..." Arcane said and smirked, "Oh please, there are two beds, I will obviously get the bigger one" she said back to him. He followed her back to the room and sighed, you can't fight with a mare.

Rose felt her compassionate side rising up and demanding she do something to comfort Morningstar, but she had not the slightest idea what to say to cheer up the prince. Despite the smile on his face, she thought she spied a deep pain hiding behind his eyes.

Bright Spark sighed "no, i can see myself bieng that boring." He didnt have much else to say, and he didnt want to make this any more awkward thab it was "well, i dont have much else to say. so see you tomorrow." he turned away from the door, curked up into a ball, and fell asleep.

Morning star turned from rose from anger and sadness his work reflect that. "Rose i have nothing to offer any mare i mean what could a mare see in me"? Morning star turned to face Rose but his eyes began to show tears like as been hurt time and time again.

"Oh... No... Don't cry... There's somepony out there for everypony..." Rose felt exceptionally stupid for saying it, but she didn't know what else to say. She hesitantly approached the Prince, and gave him a gentle hug. "What isn't there for a mare to see in you?" She sat back. "What's really wrong? Tell me about it."

 

(OOC: MOrningstar, we should really be trying to wrap this up. Most everypony is going to sleep.)

Stacy sighed and closed sparks door and finally gave in and went into her own room. She once again curled up into a ball on her bed and feel asleep thinking about rose. She wondered what rose was doing with morning star right now. *im sure she'll be fine.* she reassured herself and went to sleep.

Morning star looked into roses eyes and leaned in close to her , then he stopped himself he was going to kiss her a mare who he didn't even know."I am.. sorry rose.. i shouldn't.. it's just". Morning star couldn't find the right words his heart yearned for some pony to love.

Rose flinched. Had she really almost been kissed by a Prince? She couldn't believe it. It was any filly's dream, yet she felt she didn't deserve such an honor.

 

"It's okay..." Rose Petal said in a diminutive voice. "I need to go. I have somepony I need to talk to. If you don't mind..."

 

(OOC: In the RP, almost everypony is already asleep. So we need to get to Day 2, soon. If Morningstar is agreeable, I can get Rose to have her necessary conversation and to sleep in only one more post.)

Morning star nod his head and went out the door he ran to his room and shut the door he wanted to be alone right now he got into bed and turned in early. But as he closed his eyes he began to think."It must be nice to have some pony to love but i really do care for her".

As the snow fell around them, Moonbeam shivered a little, moving closer to Firecracker for warmth.

 

"It's nothing. We were just passing by, and we saw you all by yourself out here. You look sad. Is everything okay?" she asked Draco with a bit of concern in her voice.  She hadn't known him long, but, regardless, Moonbeam didn't want to see him sad.

Firecracker let her move closer to him, It was starting to snow, and it was during the night time

 

Draco straightened up and wiped away a few tears "Yes?" Draco asked straightening himself up as he heard two ponies call his name. Of course it really didn't matter if he looked like he was run over by a manticore. "Yes what is it you two?" He asked as he looked at Moonbeam and Firecracker.

(OOC:Thanks but that's not my full repitoir of songs for instance I like Frank Sinatra)

Firecracker knew his friend was awkward, but he never really seen his friend like this... "Eh, it's his own business, I don't know if asking him will hurt his feelings or not..." thought Firecraker...

Rose went to the balcony, where she was alone, and whispered into the air a single word.

 

Miles and miles away, back at home near the Everfree Forest, Descant was sleeping. He flinched into waking, as he heard his name being spoken aloud. Grumbling slightly, he responded, "What?"

 

Rose smiled. He had responded after all. "I need your advice." She told Descant about her situation, and about how Spark and Stacy, and now even the Lykippos Prince were wanting her to be with them, and of her dilemma.

 

"Who should I pick?"

"The prince. Go with this prince bloke. He sounds pretty cool."

"Descant, take this seriously! I need your help!"

"Well, I don't actually know any of these ponies. How do you expect me to pick for you? Besides, do you even know what time it is? I was having the most wonderful dream..."

"Well, if you can't help me, who can?"

"I don't know. Isn't there anypony there who can listen to you?"

 

Rose thought a moment, and responded, "Yes, there is, actually. Thanks!" 

 

She recieved no response. Smiling slightly, she headed off to bed, making a mental note to talk to Star in the morning. Far away, Descant snored...

(Whoa now, let's slow down.)

 

Scamps ws excited to be on a cruise with Airy. They had been getting closer over the past few months, and now they were going on a cruise together!

 

When Airy brought up the rehearsal, Scamps stopped in her tracks. "Oh right. I need to go to that." She said. "I'm singing. Everypony seemed to enjoy it last time."

Airy nodded quickly. "As soon as I'm done, I'll meet you for practising your song. Luckily I do have a key for a rehersal room. See you later!"

Saying this he ran down the hall to find the rehersal room. When he arrived he saw a piece of paper hanging on the door.

 

Orchestra rehersals daily 10:30 am and 3 pm. No rehersal on days of departure or arrival.

 

Airy read the sign a few times to fully understand it. Today was a day of departure, so no rehersal today. Not such a bad thing...

But if he wanted to use this free time, he had to find Scamps quickly. Again he ran down the halls, but this time in the opposite direction. He breathlessly arrived on the main deck and was lucky to see Scamps there.

"hi, I'm back. I didn't know the orchestra rehersals start tomorrow, not today. If you want, we can practise right now."

"Oh, okay! You said you played piano, right? Because I was thinking of a song we could do...you know, together, if you did." She smiled at Airy's return. She was in a way, glad, that rehearsal was cancelled for Airy. There was just something about him that made Scamps happy when she was around him.

 

Scamps began to walk to the room with a piano and handed Airy paino music for "All I want For Christmas Is You."

 

Scamps chuckled. "This should work for open mic night."

Airy took the note sheets and looked at them for a short while. Nothing too hard, G major, a few special chords.

"Doesn't look that hard for me, even though I won't be able to play it perfectly right now. After all I started playing the piano about a year ago."

He rolled his wheelchair in front of the piano's keys and started playing, starting slowly, but getting more confident after a while.

"Well, I think I got it, Scamps. Now it's your turn. Relax and just sing. That's the best you can do for singing."

As Somber explored the rest of the ship, he suddenly felt really tired. He needed sleep. It was an eventful first day for him.

 

As he exited the deck, and returned to the cabins, he couldn't help but go past Star Song's door, thinking of how she "loved" him. He smiled and proceeded to his room, crawling in bed, and going to sleep.

Scamps nodded as thefirst few chords were played. She thought of the words and how the tempo picked up after a while.

Airy had a quick little solo a sthe tempo picked up, and Scamps sang through the rest of the song. She couldn't help but look at Airy as she sang and smiled. The thought of marriage for some reason popped in her head, but she pushed it out as she finished off the song.

Airy had to watch out not to lose track of his notes when listening to Scamps' singing. Every time he heard her sing it was like magic. Of all the "magic" tricks she was able to perform, this was the most magical one - with great distance.

The last tones were played, and Airy needed a few seconds to return into reality again.

"Well done, Scamps. That really was a good performance. But, you know... I always have things to criticise. I think it would aound more sincere and natural if you used your head's resonance space more active than before. At the moment you sound more like an opera singer, and I think that's not what the song should feel like."

 

He scrolled through the sheets. "Once again?"

Scamps nodded at Airy. She realized that had happenned when she had lost track of where she was. She started over again, really focusing on what she was doing and listening to the piano cues. She felt more confident, and began to have a bit of fun with thw song, walking around the stage, or more so prancing, like a filly singing along to her favorite song.
