Through the blast of the waterfall, Somber could hear Star cry out his name.

 

"Star?! STAAAAR! IN HERE!", he cried out to her, until Dew Mist stomped on his wings again. "SHUT UP!", the zebra yelled at his face. "Another outburst like that, and it'll be more than the wings!"

Firecracker soon caught up with them, and Moonbeam rushed to embrace him yet again. Soon though, they reached a still, clear body of water, with a waterfall pouring down from the mountain. The trail of feathers ended there. Moonbeam trotted over to the water, bent down, examined the water for a minute before tapping the surface with her hoof,causing reverberations through the water. She the placed her mouth under the water and began to sing in a muffled voice.

 

"Shoo be doo

Shoo shoo be doo"

 

(OOC: Yes, I just went there.)

Star was about to walk back to camp when she heard a very faint yell. "Oh... Buck." She thought, running towards the waterfall.

On her way she grabbed a large stick. 

When she got to the waterfall, She placed her bag just behind a rock and walked through to the other side. "D-Dew Mist ?" She thought, Star at the zebra with his hoof on top of Somber.

Star quietly snuck up behind him and raised the stick high in the air... Then She swung it down as hard she could towards his head.

Rose looked surprised, then grinned. "Yeah, that's right. I'm the crazy flower girl. You're right, I do live in the large greenhouse in the middle of that garden right next to the Everfree Forest. But how's you know I live there? Nopony ever visits, and ponies rarely travel that way..."

"Ummmmm, what are you doing?" asked Firecracker to Moonbeam. "Okay, wait, are you part seapony or something?" He started to wonder If Somber actually went under the water. "No, not in his condition..." he thought as he dismissed the idea, "Could he be in that waterfall? I heard of other ponies doing that before..." he asked to Spark.

Sadly, the stick just snaps in two, as Dew Mist turned around and glared at Star, a devious grin painted on his face. 

 

"Trying to save your coltfriend, aren't you? Well, I'm afraid that's not going to happen sweetie... He's too disabled at the moment, so please leave."

Stacy giggled. "Everyone knows that the crazy flower girl live near the forest." She said jokingly. Stacy smiled at rose. "I actualy like know the crazy flower girl." She paused a second to think. "Is it true you can "talk" to the plants? That would be cool if you could. I dont see why everyone thinks of you as wiered, youre just like the rest of us." She said finishing her fruit. "You want one?" She asked while holding up another.

"I Will Help Him, There is nothing you can do to stop me.I Will NOT Let You Hurt Him... And Dont Call Me Sweetie." She said, Glaring. "This isn't over...YET." She thought, Trying to stab the end of the stick that was still in her hooves into Dew Mist's leg.

Bright Spark looked worriengly at the waterfall "im going to go in too." and without hesitation, he did so. (OOC: considering a waterfall can hurt alot because of pressure.)When he landed on the other side, he saw somber lying in agony on the floor, and the chief talking to moonbeam. *great,* he thought. * another problem because of me.* he carefully snuck up behind the chief, and tackled him over.

Scamps walked into Greenleaf's hut, being bored once again. She walked in and saw Airy...with his eyes opened. She gasped happily. "Airy! You're awake!" She cried as she hugged him tightly. "I have great news for you; Greenleaf, the healer, said that he might be able to restore your wings!"

 

((OOC: We need Greenleaf again...))

((OOC: Uh, that's Star, not Moonbeam. And Greenleaf is gone into a waterfall right now.))

Dew Mist felt a sudden force coming from his back and a stabbing at his leg as he fell to the ground. He quickly got up and shook himself off of the small bits of dirt.

 

"Oh, seems there's actually back-up... How cute. Sadly for you, I have a bit of a surprise."

 

He ran towards the exit, and before he left, he bucked the wall of the crevice, starting to cause a rumble inside, as rocks fell from the ceiling. "So long! Hope you can live on rocks!" And as one last kick to the face, he stomped on Somber's wings, and literally kicked him in the face and ran off.

 

The ceiling was starting to let loose a ton of gravel, as the entrance slowly filled with large rocks...

(OOC: Have where Spark, Star, and Somber are stuck in the cave and Firecracker sets them
free using one of his rockets.)

 

Staletate and Tailgate were still alive, they decided to break out after all that torture that zebra leader, Dew Mist gave. After he went past the jail, Staletate had a tool that cut through the bars and they got out, Staletate had learned to shut his mouth at unnecessary situations, the hard way. They followed him going into the bushes when Dew looked back, and then they saw Somber getting captured by Dew, "Really? They torture us bad guys, and now they're torturing innocents?" Staletate whispered to Tailgate. "Well, that's just wrong..." Tailgate complimented. They then followed him to the waterfall where they could hear some faint screams coming from there. "Why isn't it louder!" whispered Staletate, referring to the screams from the waterfall. "Quieter, quieter, you're getting there..." said Tailgate. He was referring to Staletate's whispering voice. They then saw Dew attempting to escape the waterfall, seeing rocks covering up the entrance. "Now!" said Tailgate, and Stalegate pulled the trigger to the same gun that had incapacitated Firecracker and themselves, hoping it would hit Dew Mist.

Rose smiled roguishly. "Yes, I can talk to the plants. I was actually talking to this forest earlier, and it was whispering back. This forest is ancient and wise. It actually helped me choose who I want for my special somepony." Taking a piece of fruit, she munched on it softly, ignoring Stacy's exclamation that was sure to come. She wasn't going to make this easy... Wait a moment...

 

"Do you hear something? Something rumbling?" She looked towards the hot springs, listening intently...

Before Airy even was able to find out where he was, he suddenly noticed something very familiar - or somepony. His very special somepony, Windy Scamper, suddenly appeared in front of him to hug him. He was so glad to see her that he hardly was able to react properly. When she hugged him, all he could do was cry. Tears ran down his cheeks, and eventually he held Scamps tighter and tighter.

"Scamps... I'm so glad to see you... You're okay..."

 

He needed a few minutes to calm down again. "Scamps... what exactly did you say about my wings again?"

Stacys heart jumped when rose said she had chosen. *Who? Why isnt it up front about it?* stacy though to herself while keeping a poker face. Her heart was still beating hard. *oh, i....she didnt chose me did she? Shes hinting it.* Stacy flattened her ears low on her head now realizing who Rose had chosen. Stacy almost didnt hear roses next comment as she sulked in her sorrow. She perked one ear up and listened. "No, i dont hear anything." She said in a depressed tone. *Screw this! Im leaving!* she thought angrily and collected her stuff quickly.

"Oh buck... What do we do now ?" Star muttered, Looking at the wall of rocks. Then she remembered what Dew Mist had done to Somber. She leaned down so she was sitting next to him "Somber... SOMBER. Hey, I am here, I am going to help you... Your wings are not in place so I am going to have to reset them... I Need to find a stick... NOW." She said, Jumping up and looking around the cave.

 

 

 

Greenleaf nodded when Scamps spoke. "There is a chance I can heal your wings but... I will need to know what happened and know how bad the injury's were." She said, grabbing a green mixture and smearing it onto Airy's forehead. "That is not what will heal your wings by the way... That is just something that will help you feel better sooner... You were quite sick."

As Dew Mist was about to make his escape, something had hit him in the side, bringing out great pain. He slumped to the ground, immediately falling comatose.

 

Somber was near tears when his wings were stomped on... And that kick to the face didn't help either. He groaned out in pain, as he tried to stand up, but fell back down.

(OOC: Have the walls to the cave already collapsed ? If not I will edit this.)

 

Star grabbed a piece of the stick that had broke when she hit Dew Mist then trotted back to Somber. "Dont Try to stand... Bite down on this... Somber, This is really going to hurt but I need to do it and it will be over in 5 seconds, ok ? Here we go." Star sat down next to Somber and took hold of his wing Which was at an odd angle. "I am going to reset it now... Ok, 3...2...1." When she reached one she pushed the spot where Somber's wing had broke, there was a small crack and his wing straightened.

After Spark went into the waterfall, he stayed behind just in case, suddenly, the zebra leader came out of the waterfall, looking guilty of something, he attempted to flee the waterfall, when suddenly, he went down, Firecracker investigated the body to find a dart in one of his sides, he then saw Staletate and Tailgate hiding in the bush. "Uh, what did you do that for?" he asked the duo. "He was evil, he was taking us for torture .." Tailgate explained. "Isn't that what you get for trying to steal a sample of my DNA?" Firecracker said. "Yea, but we followed him and we saw one of your friends being taken to that waterfall, We knew something bad would happen because we deserved it, not them..." said Staletate. "So that explains the feather trail..." concluded Firecracker. "Also, you finally calmed down what's your name?" he complimented while asking for names. "I'm Staletate, and his name is Tailgate." Staletate introduced.

Somber did as she said, biting right on the stick. Yet, the smallest touch to his wing caused him to crunch down on the stick, immediately breaking it. He cried out in pain.

 

"Star... I don't think that my wings needs to be popped in-- GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOWWWWWWCH!"

"It did... If I didn't reset it... It would have been more painful walking back, Plus if it were to just hang at an awkward angle for too long... Well that's bad... Im sorry." Star put her hoof on his cheek. "Your other wing should be fine... we should get out of here." She said, Helping Somber get to his hooves.

[Windy Scamper 403]

Scamps realized that Airy didn't know about the zebra tribe yet. "We're in a zebra tribe camp, now. They picked us up off the shore. This is their healer, Greenleaf. He's been taking care of you and Rose while you two have been sick." Realizing that Greenleaf was in the hut, Scamps leaned down and whispered to Airy so only he could hear, "Everypony's been screaming outsid ethat Somber is alive and disguised as a tribe member. I assume that's why everypony's gone."

"I know the pony you speak of is disguised as one of us... I disagree with what the tribe is doing to him but there is nothing I can do... Now Airy, I need you to tell me how you got your injuries and how bad they are... Then I will be able to figure out whether I can heal them or not." She said, Sitting down on a chair next to Airy's bed.

Tears were now coming out of Somber, because of the wing pains. And now, he had a hard time getting to his hooves. He nearly fell again.

 

"Star... I can't even stand... I need to rest. I can't walk or anything." He went and sat down on a rock, wincing from moving too much.

Moonbeam pulled her mouth out of the water and began to shake her head dry. Then, she puffed up her cheeks in an angry, yet adorable way. (in response to "what are you part seapony?")

 

"I thought it might work..." she said.

 

Then,Dew ran out of the cave, Tailgate shot him with a blowdart and Firecracker walked over to Dew's body. Moonbeam followed him, but she shyly shrunk behind Firecracker when she saw Staletate and Tailgate. They didn't know it, but she had a part in getting them attacked by zebras.
