Is this the first place where you told someone you loved MLP?

No, I actually found out about the show at AlternateHistory.com where someone created a thread for it, then I saw John de Lancie tweeting about it, and thought I'd watch a couple of episodes and see what it was all about, and rather to my surprise I loved it, and stated so at AlternateHistory.com which has since seen several rounds of Pony Wars erupt, and where I'm currently on a sulky self-imposed exile from. But this is the only place I really DISCUSS the show.

Nope, let me see my parents, just about everyone who comes on to Facebook and is my friend because I have that Ponyhoof app now. A forum that I have been on since November of 09. Luckily I don't really get any kind of real haters with the people I did tell before this forum.

First I told my best friend. He was completely accepting (we've shared more serious secrets in the past, this is nothing), and I told him he could tell whoever he wanted, and by the end of the day pretty much our whole group knew. Not sure how many are bronies themselves, but I could definitely tell their was a vibe of curiosity in them.

Hahahaha! i can't stop laughing at that! I have some stupid friends in highschool who are some really asses (hummm, sorry?) but you have to admit. Half the world are full of ignorant people who don't want to acknowledge other people likes or beliefs, or are just closed to the outer world, while keeping a reserved mind.

Yes, this forum is the place where I first started to tell anypony about my love for this series. For the full picture: I got into MLP in Dec2020 and finishes the show a week before I joined this place in January 2021

I was part of an anti-Twilight Saga forum a long time ago; it was the first place that I'd heard of the show and the fanbase. Generally speaking, I've always been a lurker, never really talking about stuff until after the fact, so that's a big no. 

I love the show to pieces, but I never came under that label nor looked at episodes with a critical eye until after reading some posts here and some stuff on TV Tropes.

Ah, yes! The MLP Forums was the actual first place where I told people that I like MLP. But not the first person though.
