Pretty much every Disney movie, I would say, but especially The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmations, Finding Nemo, Hercules, The Jungle Book and The Lion King (and actually The Lion King 2 also - it was my favorite movie ever in elementary school). I also used to love the Land Before Time movies.

I also have a soft spot for Spider-Man 2 - pretty much the movie that got me interested in film making! Was sooo bummed when they made those silly remakes (Amazing Spider-Man - although I actually ended up liking the second one)

The third Harry Potter movie was similar to Spider-Man 2 for me. I must have seen that one thirty times. :)

Loved Grease also (and it held up really well on rewatch!)

What About Bob? was also one I watched a lot growing up and still love.

As for current favorites: Harold and Maude, Little Miss Sunshine, Mean Girls, Elf, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Bridesmaids, Frozen, Black Swan, Spirited Away, The Hangover, Mulholland Drive and probably fifty other things I can't think of at the moment, but they are special too Lol.

Hi @Bowser! I'm going to move this thread to Media Discussion as this is where threads pertaining to films go.

As for myself, I have a few movies. They're my childhood films that I can still rewatch over and over with waves of nostalgia and happiness.

- The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride
- Anastasia
- Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron

No one's said one of mine, yet:

Joe Vs. The Volcano - it's just the best bad movie there is. It's guaranteed to cheer you up with its awfulness and optimism.

Wreck It Ralph - It has tons of my favorite characters in it and the story is just awesome. The cameos are really fun and I can always point out all of them. It's about video games and my family even enjoyed it a lot! It really did exceed my expectations.

Big Hero 6 - The story is touching, and it reminds me of the kind of person I wish to grow up to be. Impossible probably, but building things and creating new perspectives of machines/technology just sounds awesome. Even today I'm a freak with red stone and technology in Minecraft. I've built some amazing stuff that I'm proud of. I want to move that kind of skill to the real world.

How To Train Your Dragon - This has the deepest meaning to me. I won't go over all the paragraphs I could write, but I'll simply say I love the story and the friendship that is created is possibly the best I've ever seen in any show or movie. Toothless is so cute too. I love Toothless so much. <3

Most of the movies I watch that have a very special place in my heart are anime movies. I adore the following movies:

1. Spirited Away

2. My neighbor Totoro

3. Kiki's flying delivery service

The list could go on, but these movies hold a special place in my heart. I've watched them since I was a child, and I will always treasure them.

Oh goodness, I definitely hold a lot of movies close to heart.  Likely the biggest majority are from my childhood.  I'll just name a few (or you know, more than a few).

  • The 3 Casper movies from the 90s
  • Hocus Pocus
  • Halloweentown I, II, and III
  • Beetlejuice
  • The Little Rascals
  • Babe
  • Charlotte's Web
  • Angels in the Outfield
  • All Dogs Go To Heaven
  • My Favorite Martian
  • 101 Dalmatians
  • The Outsiders
  • City of Angels
  • National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
  • It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

And... last of the list, but definitely not least...

  • Annabelle's Wish

Pooh's Grand Adventure.

That was such a great movie. I watched it so many times when I was younger, and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. And I swear I tear up every time I hear that song, "Wherever You Are".

Lilo and Stich as it was one of my first movies that I ever obsessed over with

and Rainbow Rocks as it was the first time I actually saw it in theaters with many bronies and that experience was really fun and memorable to me.
