Descant can play enchanted melodies on the flute, melodies of his own composition, which can inspire various emotions in the ears of the ponies it reaches; fear, rage, drowsiness, bliss and inspiration are among some of these. And he can direct the sound to reach only specific ears; but he has to be able to see the pony targeted, or else whichever ponies will be unaffected. He can use it as a blowgun too, for poisonous darts. Is this OP? Or is it okay? He already has the flute.

Descant (Not me, the pony that I named my account after) tends to be a hard one to catch; I could see this being one of those ones that takes time to work out, like drawn-out and awkward; like its obvious that there should be a thing, and ponies start to get ideas because they volunteering for the same tasks (As is right, as they both qualify as scouts), but neither particularly wants to admit it. But it's really up to you; I'm not great it these things either.

To be quite honest it's going to be getting to the Dragon that will be the hardest part. The journey is always more interesting than the destination.

That depends. Members of the company can't really go off on their own little side quests if that's what you're implying, but if it's a short appearance that wont alter the course of the story then that's fine.

Holiday this and family death that. Honestly I don't have much to say. I'm not saying I don't want you to be in this RP, it's just that when I put allot of effort into writing a story line it honestly is like taking a kick in the gut when someone decides that it isn't deserving of proper spelling.
