Rag laughed. "I remember the cider incident. We were in Seaddle that weekend, remember? I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to have any too." She grinned, honestly thinking so. "I think... we're on in about 45 minutes. We're on fifteen minutes in."

 

Descant smiled at how Electro was flying upside down. It was cute. But... Descant was nervous too. He hadn't been on one either, but... He pointed at the carriages. "Don't worry, they're open to the sky, see? If anything happens, you can fly away..." He wasn't worried about anything happening, but if something did happen, Electro would be able to get away. Not that anything would ever happen. It's just that Electro has no reason to worry at all.

(OOC: I thought the show already happened...But lets just say that was practice or something.)

 

 

"I guess we just gotta do it again dont we." He said, Laughing. "And I think im on right after you guys." He smiled and took a bite of his sandwich. "Anyhow, I already got my makeup on so luckily im done that...It looks like you have done the same, Now we have time to kill...Do you wanna go check out some rides or something...We could even greet some of the guests." He said,Glancing over at a big group of foal's who were lined up for the Ferris Wheel.

She was so cute it hurt, the line moved slowly but he didn't mind. Slowly but surely they were at the front of the queue with the owner of the ride smiling down at them. Umbra showed the wristband he'd been given on entry and they were allowed to get on the ride. He singled out a purple one  and sat in the drivers seat, patting the chair next to him.

 

Rockshire sat down in the seat next to Umbra, strapping herself to the seat. "Man, this is going to be so fun!", she said to Umbra, hugging him before they started.

 

Short Fuse looked around and saw the Ferris Wheel. 

 

Well, I guess I can take a ride on that for a bit... He goes to stand in line.

Electro Dash sighed. "I guess. And if something does happen, which, obviosly it won't. But if it did, I wouldn't leave you behind." Having somepon accompany her made Electro Dash feel reassured. She just hoped that nothing did happen.

Descant smiled. She was so sweet. He would never have asked her to save him... And it spoke a lot, that she would save him, even though they just met. His mellow voice sounded softly. "Thank you." He didn't really care that they had just met. He was really impressed by her entire demeanor. He liked her, more than he ever would have expected, for having just met the mare.

 

(OOC: I'm going off to church soon. Just so you all know.)

Rockshire sat down in the seat next to Umbra, strapping herself to the seat. "Man, this is going to be so fun!", she said to Umbra, hugging him before they started.

 

Short Fuse looked around and saw the Ferris Wheel. 

 

Well, I guess I can take a ride on that for a bit... He goes to stand in line.

"I know right?" He giggled as electricity surged through the car as they surged forward. He span the wheel, turning them into the side of another car then zipping them along as they were bumped about by the others

A rather grumpy looking pony stood in front of them when they lined up. "Hey...Are you in line ?" He asked, smiling at the colt.

Short Fuse turned to see two other ponies. By a quick glance, he could tell that they're both part of the act.

 

"Yeah, what's it to you?", he said in a bit of a grumpy tone.

Flame frowned. "Just wasn't sure, that's all." He said, putting a hoof up to show he didn't mean to offend. *Whats his problem ? He seems rather...He has to be part of the show...No pony would come to the circus when they are feeling grumpy...And if they did, They wouldn't be grumpy.* He thought. "Sooooooo...Whats your act ?" He asked, giving Short Fuse a friendly smile.

Airy was very surprised of Dusk's behaviour, thus he wasn't able to reply immediately. "Er... yes, sure, I'll keep that in mind..."

Once Dusk was gone, Airy looked at Scamps. "Well, that was something... He seems to be a little... direct, if you ask me. So he'll be a musician later... Good to know."

He saw that Scamps was unsure as well. "Hey, are you okay? Is there something bothering you?"

Umbra laughed out loud, as they were thrown around for five minutes or so on the ride. Gods was her mane nice. When it was finally over he laughed all the way out of the dodgems ring and sat down on a bench with her.

Chamois Vine smiled softly to herself as she slowly walked towards the circus.  As she neared it, her smile dropped off her face and she pursed her lips together. 

Their going to be so upset with me... she thought ti herself.  I'm late.  On my first day no less.

Flame smiled. "The Freak Show ? That's awesome...One of the best jobs you can have here, Everypony in the freak show are super nice...Sooo...What are you doing in the freak show ?" He asked, His curiosity getting the better of him. *Oh dear...I probably shouldn't have asked that.* He thought.

As Hop was sipping at her lemonade she noticed a pair sit on a bench next to hers. When she took a look she saw a mare she had never seen before. Then her eyes slowly drifted over to... Umbra? At the sight of him Hop accidentally began to choke on her drink. Her lungs burned as she coughed. Her experince was never pleasant when it happened. She remembered Umbra from Eves garden party, and Hop felt angry but it quickly changed into resentment, then remorse. She didnt realize how long it was since that party. Hop let him move in then after a few days he just disappeared. She hadnt seen him since, but now here he was with somepony else. She still had feeling for him, but something told her he didnt. But...she was at least going to go say hi to him either way. After she was done coughing she walked up to the couple with a smile and spoke up, "Hey, Umbra. Long time, no see."

Dusk saw someone he recognized entering the circus. She was a new to the circus. He had seen leaving when she was first hired, and he asked around about her with the other performers. He walked up from behind her and threw his arm over her shoulder.

 

"Hey, newbie! Welcome to show-biz! The name's Dusk Chant, musician for this beautiful little show. What can I call you, pretty little lady?" He still had time to kill, and he kind of wanted to get to know this new performer. Who knows what could happen?

Rag gazed at this new, angry freak show pony bemusedly. What had they ever done to him to deserve such contempt? There they were, kindly attempting to simply chat, and he was sneering at them in return. She sighed, and allowed Flame Dancer to talk for the both of them.

Descant nodded. "True, true. I'm not overly fond of heights. I'm glad I have somepony to hold my hoof..." He blushed. "Well, maybe not literally..."

Chamois flinched inwardly at the ponies sudden touch.  Oh dear, Celestia.  Get off of me.  Chamois looked at Dusk Chant.  She frowned at him.  "Uhm, yeah, hey.  I'm Chamois Vine," she said, not bothering to hide her annoyance and distrust.  Gosh, thanks for the warm welcome.

 

(OOC: It takes quite a bit to get through to her xD)

Dusk noticed her annoyance, but he was determined to get through to her. "Chamois? What a pretty name! So tell me, why did you decide to work here at the circus, Chamois? As nice as it can be here, you look like a pretty, talented young mare. You could probably work anywhere."

Great.  I'm late as it is.  "Geez, thanks," she said, with a roll of her eyes.  "I just like circuses.  And..." Chamois reached into her saddle bag and pulled out a notebook.  She flipped open a random page to a charcoal drawing of a kitten.  "I do caricatures."  Now get off of me.

Dusk let go of her, but he kept walking with her. He looked at the picture she showed him. "Wow, nice! I have friends who make art, but I've never seen something like that. What did you draw it with?" He meant it too. He was interested in artsy-type things like that.

Chamois didn't attempt to move away from him.  No way.  I'm waiting for you to get a move on.  But his comment did make her feel a bit warm inside.  "Charcoal.  Vine charcoal.  And used some chamois as well to help the shading," Chamois couldn't help but smirk.  "My parents named me well."

"I'm juat nervous...I'm afraid I'll mess up. I've never preformed such dangerous illussions before. Usually, when I mess up, I get imitating laughs. Now...well, if I mess up, spikes go through my pelt and I'll end up dead. I know I've practiced it so many times, but I'm si afraid...if I die now, I won't get to spend my new life with you.." she said, tears starting to form.

Dusk laughed. "I guess so!" he exclaimed. "And I guess I was right. You are talented! Maybe, I can swing by your tent, and you can show me more of your art sometime. Right now though, I have to go get ready for my show. Bye! Good luck with your caricatures!" he said as he waved, bidding her farewell. He went over to the area where the concert would begin, and started to tune his guitar, looking for Airy out of the corner of his eye to make sure he would be there.
